Barring the obvious things that animals need that humans don't, if you wouldn't do something to human, don't do it to an animal. Just because you find the reaction of the animal funny or cute does not mean they like it happening or that it is okay to do.

The beast that is 2016 has been slain.

I'd say 'goodbye', but in the sense that it feels good to finally say bye. It's not going to be missed.

    Hoping for a better 2017.

What is it with medieval stuff and its strangely large influence on fiction?

Living in a place that went through that period as part of its history, it's kind of disappointing how many fictional works seem to make themselves way more boring by allowing themselves to be influenced too much by it. Asides from the fictional works produced during the medieval period, that has an excuse.

What's this about it being the third day of the fourteenth month...? Did eleven months pass in one night? Ignoring wherever those two extra months came from, regardless. Are they leap months?

Are we allowed to add days to the calendar ourselves now, extending the year for everybody? Can we retroactively do that? But if we insert two extra months into 2014, it'll be January today, but January 2015 already happened as did February 2015...

Whatever, merry happy joyous wondrous Ipe day.

Entry title is a product of bashing the keyboard with my eyes closed.

I feel like I should write a bonkle comedy making fun of the cliches of bonkle fanfiction. Kind of line this:

On the island of Okoto, a great shadow had begun to loom over the island, permanently. This shadow, much unlike other shadows, was not merely metaphorical and meaning the power of the forces of evil over the island... it was literal too! Without light to sustain the farms that did not really need to exist, the villagers panicked. They had nothing to do! They were untrained, and without purpose, because Okoto does not have the three virtues. Instead, it had (and still has) the Six Virtues: Fear, Cower, Run Around Helplessly, Panic, Cower Some More, and Defeat. These virtues had shaped Okoto into the vaguely diamond-shape it was today! (author's Note: Okoto-Nui was once part of a much larger landmass: Spherus-Nui-Metrumatavoyamahri-Magna. However, Okoto had broken off out of Fear while its villagers Cowering, allowing the Island of Okoto to Float Around Helplessly, while Panicking about the thing, causing the villagers to Cower Some More, until they accepted Defeat.) But even then, this did not kill the villagers. They knew how to make fire, and used light from that via photosynthesis... at least the jungle villagers did. (What did you think the leaves extending off the feet were for?) In this lightless land, six Protectors sprung from the darkness to finally attempt to defend their home, in an unholy corruption of the six virtues. They were immediately branded as outcasts, yet this bothered them not, for they were unfazed by the petty insults of the entire island, which had been conspiring to insult these six protectors since their very branding as protectors. Cracks would form in the ground, spelling out obscene insults. In the water, jungle, and ice regions, rivers would rapidly meander to spell out "PROTECTRS R DUM", a shocking display of the illiteracy of the island. In the fire region, volcanoes would erupt in a symphony to the tune of one of the island's classic musical pieces: "BRING BACK G1 STORY", for the Fire Region and its inhabitants were known for their stubbornness. Specifically, the stubbornness to accept that G1 canon was over. Somehow they knew about G1 and that they were in G2. Perhaps it's the fumes from the volcanoes? Oh, sorry. Got sidetracked. Anyway, these Protectors were also insulted by the ancient city, which would combine skeletons to spell out more obscene insults. It just so happened that, on one extremely bright despite the shadow looming over the island, the six Protectors received Toa Stones, despite them not being Matoran, this being G2 despite Okoto being part of a combination of G1 islands, and that G2 had no connection to G1. 'Or did it?', said the reader, pondering the implications of the Protectors receiving Toa Stones and thinking about how they could shoehorn this into yet another 'g1 is connected to g2!!1!!1' theory, then complaining about the simplicity of 2015 claiming 2001 was so much more complex when they weren't actually around for 2001. These Toa Stones were immediately used up by the Protectors, who became... the Toa Not Actually Toa. They had a surprising effect, as these Protectors were not Matoran, they were traitors to the six virtues. The Toa Stones... had deemed them unworthy, and vaporising them into ash, and ash isn't 'Toa', hence their title: the Toa Not Actually Toa.

This was the tale of what happened when you ignored the Six Virtues of Okoto and did that pesky 'defending the island from the evil spiders' thiing. I think.

^Kind of like that. In all likelihood I'll delete this five seconds after I post it. Except I won't, because now I just dared myself not to delete it. Except I might. Maybe I won't. Whatever, I'll just bash the keyboard again. The Protecotr aSre HWroes Ufndasty to Dewsnmgfedgvn Oktoeas. There.

    You know you want to.

    Featuring:

Six Four Five Regions! (There may or may not be a region that was mostly burned to the ground and absorbed into another region, and there may or may not be an entire region that has reappeared from underground.)
    Its own Lore and Histories!
Five spots per region, with a role for each! And five houses for nearly every region, too!
    Turmoil! An uncertain future!

We have five spots left. One in the Fire Region, one in the Water Region, and three in the Stone Region!

    Here we go again.

Just one more month until 2015. One more month, and soon not even that. The year's gone by quite fast.

November's about to end, and December's about to start. Still feeling afraid of the future.

Do you ever wonder what Ekimu thinks of the Toa? They're meant to protect Okoto (I hope) but instead it seems they need him, this year and last.

    Two things:

    1. Changed my BZP name. I did say it'd become something along these lines eventually.

    2. There are two spots left in BIONICLE MAFIA: Five Faction Face Off! Two more people and we can begin.

Now that the Skull Skeletons are available in some areas, here's some questions. Yes, questions. The things that people ask people, that you give a response to, if you've forgotten what a question is.

Disregarding Skull Grinder who everyone loves, which of the Skull Skeletons do you currently like the most?
Disregarding Skull Scorpio who everyone hates, which of the Skull Skeletons do you currently dislike the most?
Which of the Skull Skeletons makes the best use of the new boney bone piece?
Which of the Skull Skeletons makes the best use of the new shell add-on piece?
Which of the Skull Skeletons makes the worst use of the new boney bone piece?
If next year's sets were to be leaked and had the following names, how likely would it be that you'd believe them:

    70797 Ekimu - Master of Creation £14.99
70798 Tahu - Master of the Masters £14.99

I added a pointless new content block to the right. I hope it does what I intended to do. It probably won't, and break BZP, since I have that kind of luck. Though I do get the feeling that it may or may not be abused. Either I added it for no reason or will regret adding it. Preferably the former if one has to choose.

...So. Last day of September. This year is going too fast.

What if we swapped the elemental prefixes at the beginning of each Toa's name around?

    ORIGINAL NAMES

    TAHU
    KOPAKA
    GALI
    POHATU
    ONUA
    KOPAKA

Swapping them around, we end up with:

    ONUHU
    POPAKA
    LEHATU
    TAWA
    KOLI
    GAA

I opened up LDD and proceeded to build this thing I consider a feline. (It lacks a tail but let's go with that it's like Manx cats and just has a really short one.)

Let's say that Stone Villagers tame them sometimes.

Well, happy 13th Birthday, BZP. It's amazing it's lasted this long. Let's hope it lasts another 13 years. Or maybe not, depending on your view. How much longer can we even last?
