I'm making a pedal board for all my guitar effects So far it's going well. Normally, when I make something with wood and nails and everything, the wood splits and it breaks down. Not this time. I got the nails in perfectly. Yay! So far, it will be able to fit in about 14 small pedals and a wah pedal, or four of the large EHX multi-effects pedal. Either way, it's pretty big. I'm proud of it so far. -Freeze

I bought today... 1. Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion II 2. Foo Fighter's There Is Nothing Left To Lose 3. Electro Harmonix Small Stone Phase Shifter Pedal for Guitar. 4. Linkin Park CD (Lol, only kidding) I won't be spending cash anytime soon. But the albums were great. More importantly, the £50 pedal is fantastic. -Freeze

If you live in the UK, BUY THIS BOOK. This is easily the best Demonata book in the series, apart from Death's Shadow. In fact, I'd say the two are roughly the same. Once again- if you live in the UK, it has JUST been released, buy it NOW. -Freeze

If you disagree with me, or do not like Nirvana, please don't hesitate to keep the comments to yourself, yeah? Reason 1: Krist Novoselic, Dave Grohl, and Kurt Cobain are all completely awesome and cool, much more cool than rappers and modern musicians. Reason 2: The basslines rocked. Reason 3: The drumming puts most drumming roles to shame, and quite a far way beyond. The drumming in this band is excellent. Reason 4: All the members have equal roles. This is nothing like these stupid pop bands nowdays where only the vocalists are credited. The basslines were harder than the guitar roles, as were the drumming roles. Reason 5: Kurt Cobain sang excellently, in a grunge rock voice, and also played LEAD guitar. Not Rhythm, LEAD guitar. This means solos and everything. Reason 6: They were a mix of alternative rock (seen in Nevermind) and pure Grunge (Bleach and Incesticide). Reason 7: They didn't give a *cough* about money or the buisness side of Rock, unlike the new, modern day, money grabbing pop/rock bands. Reason 8: They destroyed their guitars and drums at the end of the shows. -Freeze

Easter Holidays Two weeks off. Need I say more? Metallica I've started listening to more Metallica, and now they are probably my favourite band, alongside Nirvana, definetely my favourite metal band. I've learnt to play Cyanide, and Enter Sandman, on the guitar. Guitar My order for the Electro Harmonix Small Clone Chorus pedal has arrived. Thank god. It was £50, but easily worth it. I can understand why it's popular. Like the BOSS DS-1 Distortion pedal, it has a wide range of what it does. It's very good, a works well with distortion too. I'd recommend it any day. -Freeze

This is the closest I've ever come to quitting Bzpower. I pay for premier membership, but mostly just to keep the site going- and now, everything I've done within the last four months has gone. -Freeze

The problem with Linkin Park is that they are unoriginal. There is nothing unique about them, apart from their uniquely bad music. -Freeze

I agree. I think the new Guns N Roses are completley awesome, but they don't have the right to call themselves Guns N Roses, but Slash's blues/rock solos and riffs don't fit well with the new Metal guitarists. Age is taking it's toll on Axl Rose. I feel sorry for him- he's actually losing his voice... -Freeze

Linkin Park Suck Whilst browsing google videoes and another site, I came across a video 'Linkin Park sucks'. The guy who made it obviously hates them so much that he dedicated his time to expressing his hate towards them I, for one, do not like Linkin Park. I think they're boring, unoriginal, and above all- they've practically stabbed the rock genre with a sharp knife when they fused rap and rock together. Their songs have bad rock riffs in the background with two nutcases 'singing' rap, and there's apparently another guy who does DJ. None of them are rock stars to me, I think they're all bad at what they do. But this guy hated them enormously. I would link to the video if it did not have powerful swearwords in it, but it made me laugh SO much man! It is in a 'Microsoft Sam Default Voice'. It's basically a long complaint about Linkin Park. But it's also very insulting, perticuarly towards the fans. But what the heck- it was funny and made me laugh a lot! Guitar Song My guitar lesson starts in about an hour. We're learning 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns N Roses. This song is epic beyond epicness. The song is harder to play than meets the ear! ( ) the song is tuned down half a step, and has subtle differences in the riff every few strums, making it a hard song to play. But heck, it's been worth it, and I've finished the riff. The chorus is harder, and don't even talk about the solo! Guns N Roses are such a good band. They're disbanded now, and Axl Rose the saviour has brought together several musicians over the years of his dissapearence to replace Slash. Most people like the old band. Some people prefer the new band. In my opinion, they cannot be judged. But what annoys me above all is the fact Axl Rose has kept the name 'Guns N Roses'. Because no matter how hard these guys can play rock, they aren't Guns N Roses anymore. Guns N Roses were Hard Rock, but the new musicians like Buckethead (who has serious issues, but he's cool anyway) play something like metal. I like both the bands- and Chinese Decromacy is one You can't say that on television! -Kame album. But to call the new guys Guns N Roses is a crime, to me. As for Slash... Velvet Revolver, anyone? 5th January update Ah, Friday. The blissful day of the week when I can finish the week of school and not have to worry about homework. I downloaded Guns N Roses' November Rain to my Ipod. Itunes is a fantastic invention. Nuff said. That's all for now... -Freeze
