IC: TF141 (from Ga-Wahi)Pordal jumped from the Gukko and into the snowy field, his new disk launcher gripped tightly in his hands."Come on," he said.Yerith joined them on the ground, looking around. He saw the building, snug in a snowdrift, just as he remembered."I'm going to go back to base," Altal said. "There are two snipers from a Ta-Koro special forces group on the ridge over there. Good hunting." He hopped on a Gukko and headed back east.Gren was one of the first to run across the field. Two shots cracked out behind him as two guards fell with disks protruding from their heads.Sirron gave the all clear signal, moving up with the team."Let's clear out the building, now," Pordal said.Gren kicked the door open and let the Captains lead.Yerith worked his way through the tight hallways clearing out any guards that crossed his path.Pordal was right behind him, clearing out any rooms on the side. Soon the whole building was clear and everyone had only some minor cuts and bruises. The last room they came to was empty. It was the war room. The target, Codename: Kingfish, was nowhere to be found."Come look at this," Yerith said, signalling for Pordal to come over."It's Team Winged Dagger," Pordal mumbled. "Everyone except Walcroft, Griffen, and us is X'ed out."He heard a rumbling. The room was rigged with traps."GET DOWN!" he yelled.

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Oh, don't worry about signing up," Alia said, looking around the apartment. "They'll come to you. They sweep the camp every once in a while to make sure no Protectorate spies are about. You're with me, so you'll be marked down as a DH."She pulled a bottle of wine out of the ice cabinet."Ah, perfect," she said, grabbing a couple glasses.

IC: TF141"Like I said, I'll be right back," Pordal said, kissing Gamelia on the forehead."Captain, the Gukkos are ready," Altal shouted."I'll see you in a little bit," Pordal said, a sad look on his face. He didn't want to leave."Are we going after that madman?" Yerith inquired once the team was gathered on their birds."You got that right," Sirron said, kicking the Gukko to get it in the air.Pordal turned around and waved goodbye to Gamelia as they took off and flew to the west.Gren patted the distressed Captain's shoulder reassuringly.OOC: TF141 to Ko-Wahi.

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Why of course," Alia said, walking up the stairs.Once they reached the top, Alia knocked on one of the doors. It opened and she punched the disgruntled Skakdi in the face, stunning him. Then she hauled him, kicking and screaming, to the window and threw him out. A moment later there was a quiet little smack.

IC: Pordal, Yerith, Altal, Sirron, Gren"Yeah, I think I'll be staying a little longer," Pordal answered. "But why would I want to leave?"As luck would have it, Altal hobbled through Ga-Koro with his two new recruits close behind. He walked into the shop."Captain MacTavish, Captain Price," Altal called out.Pordal swore quietly as he looked over to the General."These are your two new teammates," Altal went on. "Lieutenant Sirron "Ghost" Riley and Sergeant Gren "Roach" Sanderson.""Why'd you bring 'em here?" Yerith asked, walking over to them."Because, sir, we have some business in Ko-Wahi," Sirron answered.Gren sort of just nodded slightly."A quick mission," Altal said. "You'll be back here in no time."Pordal swore under his breath again."Well, Gamelia, looks like I have to be going," he sighed. "I'll be back in less than 24 hours."

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Well, you barge into a room," Alia said. "If someone's in there, you throw them out the window, and if not, you settle down. Let's start looking at the top floor."

IC: Pordal, Yerith"Oh, well, thanks," Pordal said, examining the shirt. He put it on. Hm, nice fit.Yerith decided to stop staring at the strange items.

IC: Pordal, YerithPordal walked to Gamelia at the counter."Well, I'd like to by this shirt, that's for sure," he said, placing it down.And Yerith was still mesmerized by the existence of sunscreen.

IC: AliaONU-METRUAlia opened the door to one of the apartment buildings and entered."Welcome to the Dark Hunter camp," she said. "It's not much, but we're not making repairs, so..."

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Indecisive today, huh?" Alia laughed. "Well, I'm sorry to say that we have to go inside, now."

IC: AliaONU-METRUAlia turned right and there was the block of apartment buildings that made up the Dark Hunter "camp.""Well, here we are," Alia said. The suns shone directly down the street, catching her armor, making it glisten as though she had stepped out of a pool of water.

IC: Pordal, YerithPordal nodded and slung the shirt over his forearm and continued to look around."I really should have gotten out more," Yerith mumbled, looking at the various items of the shop. "Because I don't know what half the things in here are.""They're things people like to have," Pordal answered."What people?""Normal people."

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Yes, shiny objects and beautiful women are a wonderful combination, aren't they?" Alia smirked, trying her best to remember where the camp was. Right... or left... no, straight, then right.

IC: Pordal, YerithPordal smiled. When you hadn't eaten in a day, a quick breakfast didn't mean a small breakfast. He got up and browsed the store.Yerith kept an eye on his new equal."So, what looks good?" he asked Pordal.Pordal's eyes flitted about the shelves."Well, I think this tan shirt looks nice," he said, examining it.

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Give me a sec," Alia said, her eyes adjusting to the light. "This way... wait... yeah, this way."

IC: Pordal, YerithAnd for Yerith, it only did take a second. He had scarfed down his plate, faster than one could say... well, anything, really."You might want to take it slow, old man," Pordal warned him, finishing up a moment later. "Mata Nui knows, you might fall down and can't get up."He collected the plates and downed his juice.

IC: OziOzi sat in his chair, stewing. The Captain had escaped, and quite easily. He had to act fast. The war wasn't going to start itself."Lay traps in the war room," he commanded. "Yerith, no doubt has given word to the commander of this... Task Force. They will strike. And we will destroy them."

IC: AliaONU-METRUAlia thought for a moment. She hadn't really given much thought to what was in the sky."You... could say that," she said. "Ah, I think that's the exit."She opened the door, cringing from the sudden bright light.

IC: Pordal, Yerith"Karz of a lot better than an MRE," Pordal said, graciously accepting the plate.Yerith looked at the food. He hadn't eaten in two days. This was welcome."Well, I've never been to a hotel, restaurant, theater, or club," Yerith said, digging in, "and I usually eat where I sleep and sleep where I fight, so fancy kind of gets lost on me."Pordal, when Yerith wasn't looking, mouthed the word "antisocial" to Gamelia.

IC: AliaONU-METRU"Well, some missions can get... messy," Alia chuckled.She didn't miss the Toa Code one bit, that was for sure.

It felt strange, waking up after the sun had risen. He nudged Yerith awake.Yerith shot right up, a light sleeper by nature."What's the time?" he muttered, standing up.

IC: Alia, BoforAlia led her drunken boss through the tunnels of Onu-Koro. "We have to get back home," she mumbled to him. "Come on."Unfortunately, right at the end of the tunnel, the Vortixx passed out.Alia sighed and shoved him onto the Gukko before taking off.OOC: Alia and Bofor to Kumu Islets.

IC: Pordal, YerithPordal grabbed a few blankets and made himself comfortable."Did ya really have to tell that story?" he grumbled."Hazing, son," Yerith said. "You know how it works. How do you think you got that nickname in the first place?""Ye'd better keep your mouth shut about that, old man," Pordal shot back.
