Okay, I think I've found a new favourite blog series. Obviously Ask Pinkamena Diane Pie is gonna remain at the top (Those feels man, all those feels) but Ask Jappleack has been delivering just as many feels. I've just caught up and I've been "Wat"ing the whole way through, but there's been one or two fairly heartwarming bits. And it's still running, so take that, APDP!Weird how something like Apple.MOV can be given a slightly deeper plot. Wonder how it's going to leak into Magic.MOV.

Has anyone found any good piano arrangements of pony songs?I've been digging, but all I can find is multiple instrument orchestrations.

OctaviasPianist has piano music as PDFs on all his videos. Also Everypony Sings has sheet music for like every song in the show, mostly piano and guitar I think. No flute, as usual.Speaking of which I'm writing an arrangement of Pinkie's Brew for flute quartet/quintet. Filming myself 5 times playing in tune and at tempo is going to be a pain once I'm done...

I finished the Vidmasters too, but if they want to give Recon to everyone let them. It's not like it matters too much anymore, and anyone who had it before has the Achievements to prove it. I don't think getting Vidmasters is exactly easy, especially now that most people have moved on from H3 and ODST, so for the most part there won't be many more people getting them.(Recon shoulders )

Tarix was kind of a letdown for me. He looked so cool on the canister and in pictures, but when I got him he turned out to be kinda... meh. The weapons weren't as good as I thought they'd be, and the build was boring overall (although by that point I should have seen it coming). The Metru and Mata blue combined wasn't my favorite either.

I don't really like it; kinda bleh IMO (ODST would make everything better though). Chief's armor is growing on me, though, but I still want an explanation for why he has it in the first place.

I disagree with a lot of people suggesting that SpikeXRarity couldn't happen. Dragons probably have a long lifespan. And in some ways (though not all), Spike has shown himself to be wiser than his years. I doubt it'll ever progress any farther than it already has in the show, but in speculative fanfic and fanart I see little reason why Spike and Rarity couldn't maintain a romantic relationship as they age. Yeah, there's the whole species thing, but I doubt that'd present too much of a problem, seeing as both ponies and dragons in MLP seem to be about the same level of sentience as humans.

I think what most of us are saying is that, at their ages right now it's not going to happen, given the way Rarity treats Spike. Of course as time goes on, something could develop, but as of right now it's most likely going to stay one-sided.

... Am I the only one here who doesn't ship ponies? (you know, aside from Derpy and Doctor Whooves because that's totally canon XP)

In my personal headcanon I don't really ship, but I don't mind reading shipfics or shipping blogs, obviously. (Ask Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie is barely even shipping anyway lol)

I think SweetieMac would be okay... if they both were a lot older. As it is right now, creepiness aside, I don't really see it happening.Also speaking of fics, I read Two and Two and Two earlier today. Pretty funny, especially how the extra pair of legs just seem to come out of the ground.

I honestly don't really see them together. More as a roommate/best friends way the way Carrot Top and Derpy are shown in fanon.(Flutterpie I don't really see happening either but fanon makes it believable and Speccy makes it adorable)

I normally translate the character's element/an element of the character into Maori and mess around with it. Works pretty well, except for that one time I got katoatoa by translating something related to plasma...

 

I dunno, Rarity seems to treat him more like a son or maybe a doll with the whole cutesy-wutesy Spikey-wikey thing.Also I'm happy that the baby phoenix is prolly gonna come back in the future, but I think they could have made some effort to find the family again. As it stands it kinda looks like they just stole the egg.

 

You kidding? The nest was destroyed and the family flew off. I doubt they'd return to a hazardous area like that any time soon, and even if they did catch up to the phoenix, they'd probably be pretty protective still. I wouldn't want to get in the path of a protective set of parents that could use flare blitz and blind me, especially if I were in the possession of one of their young. Owie. O.eLoved the new episode. Yeah, it was predictable blah blah blah, but this one had a lot of heart to it (I almost wish it was a two part episode so they could develop Spike's emotions more). Plus Phoenix main character (kinda). WAHOO! (Phoenix rule. His non-canon canon name in my book is Wright just for the lolz)

 

Went to a McDonalds today with my brother and 4 other bronies I know. They only had AJ and Lily Blossom, though. :/Although, Lily Blossom's not too bad. Twi or Pinkie would have been better, but Lily looks all right IMO.
