  1. Interesting scene. The minifigs are okay, but I particularly like the wasp creature; nice design there. The forest is a little sparse, but you did well with the few pieces you had. (Plus, it's no worst than the various landscape pieces that come in official Lego sets.) My biggest gripe would be that the minifigs felt a little plain, particularly the Wookie. But they're still not bad.Anyway, good job, have fun creating more! :music:

I have very few nature type pieces, and so I couldn't do a whole ton with that, and I mostly have Star Wars minifigs, so some of the minifigs here aren't as good as I wish they could be, and the Myth army was especially difficult to amass, and so the wookies were the closest thing I could find for more troops. Thanks for the comment!
  2. (A quick note before I begin, I accidentally put the images too large on Brickshelf, so I had only links to them, so bear with me.)

Sorry I took so long getting the post up for the first set for Tale Of Five Nations, but here it is!

  3. Tale of Five Nations

    Five countries, One Destiny...

The continent of Elderon has been at peace for 3 years since the great war between Argoth, Fushigi, and Ilyan. But now that time is over. The Fabled Temple of the Sky is found along with a legend of the mythical Weapons of Fate, hidden in the Sky Shrine. The Weapons of Fate contain the greatest power on the face of the continent and could further the designs of any nation or make one and unstoppable foe.

Word of the legend spreads like wildfire and races across all the land. Each nation begins its search for the one man, a Scholar, who knows the only way to the Chamber of Transfiguration, the only way to the Shrine. The scholar also holds the only key to unlock the vault to the Weapons,. and has gone into hiding to protect himself from the hands of the different nations.

All of the nations come to a stalemate when the each discover that this shall become all out war as each is determined to have the weapons for themselves and no other. All of the Nations prepare for what may be the end of everything on Elderon as all of the forces get ready for the battle of Destiny...

(I will be posting several topics on the different sets about Tale of Five Nations over the next while, depending on when I finish each set. I should be posting the first few sets soon. Enjoy!)

The 5 nations of Elderon are as follows: Argoth, Fushigi, Ilyan, Arulia, and the Great Wood.

One of the oldest of the Nations, Argoth is the father of all the other Human nations. They are a just, noble, and loyal people. They seek the Weapons of Fate to forever protect and unite the nations in peace.

    Vikings and Samurai of Fushigi:

    http://www.brickshel...is/Fate/028.jpg

Once, these people were two seperate nations, but after years of war over the land they shared, they joined together into a deadly force of power and swiftness. The search for the Weapons of Fate to protect the peace they share and avenge the loses caused by Ilyan.

They were once at peace with their brethren the samurai, but were split when the Sun and Moon Blades were found. Each group wanted the power of both swords, leading to the war and separation of the groups. The Ninjas want the Weapons of Fate to end the Samurai, regain the Sun Blade, and be unquestioned in power.

Mythological creatures of the Great Wood:

    http://www.brickshel...is/Fate/024.jpg

These beings were once part of the legends and tales of old, but now they have emerged to claim the land that is theirs. This group consists of many different races, all united to claim the Weapons of Fate that were once theirs many centuries ago

    Enchanted Armors of Arulia:

    http://www.brickshel...is/Fate/025.jpg

Created by the infamous Pestilence Flamewhip, these mindless creatures follow him without question. Pestilence and his loyal follower General Bane search vigourously fro the Weapons of Fate so they can destroy those who oppose them and enslave the world under their power.

Fates of the Sky Shrine: (haha I'm not going to post pics yet. Stayed tuned to fined out what they look like!)

These mythilogical creatureshave only been seen once before in ancient times. They protect the fabled Weapons of Fate.

I'll be posting the first set of Tale of Five Nations soon. Stay tuned! Please Comment!

  4. I guess it shouldn't be a problem, because it's all over the internet, and HEROsector01 posted it (I did that ). Instructions can be found here.

    ThemeAccess=LDDExtended
I did everything the instructions said to do, but when i try to save it it denies access to save it in that file. How do I get it saved so I can use it?
  5. I really like it for the most part, and good job. One thing I would change though is the sword. It just seems a bit small and not quite Tahu, if you know what I mean. Maybe a amped original fire sword might look a bit better. other than that, it was good. * out of 10 from me

  6. Love the legs, but their high quality makes the arms stand out by comparison. Also, the Chainsword is just brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. I may just have to steal the design.

Haha go ahead. The chainsword took some doing to make, but it turned out simple and beautiful. Thanks for the input!
  7. I really like'd the 2.0's in general, with Evo being the least favorite(I just can't quite cope with the purple for some reason). Also I LOVED the Stormer sets throughout the course of HF, and I have the 1.0 and 3.0 versions (sadly when I went to buy the 2.0 version he wasn't there :P). Despite my original thoughts, Rocka slowly became pretty cool in my opinion for some reason; I guess I really liked the gold, but I I ever get him in 3.0, I'd customize him to be better.

  8. Interesting idea, but they seem to take after actual sets just a bit too much. Try playing with alternate color schemes a bit more. I do like the cresent sword, though.

ya, now that you bring it up, that does make since. Stormer is supposed to be like that, but I see what you mean with they others. I don't have lots of money to spend, so I was hoping to buy as few sets as possible in my favorite colors, so ya. I could maybe switch the colors for Troy and Jenny, though. Thanks!
  9. So Lately I've been having these Ideas for a Hero Factory Team named Beta Team. They are a group of bots-in-testing that have been equipped with the most up-to-date and experimental equipment in the Factory. So with this Idea, I have the following project Ideas (all positive criticism, advice, and ideas welcome): Rex Stormer- The first and founding member of Beta Team, designed as a testing unit after the successful design of Preston Stormer. Just to let you all know and so no one asks about the name, I didn't smash Nex and Stormer together and change a letter. It was complete coincidence. I've already began working on him, and did his 1.0 version with Preston's 1.0 pieces equipped with custom legs (this is the point on which I decided I'd call him stormer also, since I didn't have much to work with haha). I recently got Stormer 3.0 and completely redid him with the 3.0 build (as a 2.0 Hero) and modifying the armor/weapons placement and design, plus adding on the 1.0's jet pack and a custom sword (based off of the Warhammer 40,000 style chainswords), but I'd like to make him better if I can. I also have made a 3.0 version of him on the Lego Digital Designer, with which he is essentially a combination of Stormer and Bulk 3.0, with the wolf theme dominating, as an “Alpha Wolf”. He had a Wolf’s Paw claw hand and an ice blade attached to his hip which he can hold in his open left hand, and a spare compact Ice Shield on his back in emergencies.Rex Pose 1.0: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/026.jpgRex 1.0: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/028.jpgRex 1.0 leg desgn: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/029.jpgRex 2.0: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/033.jpgRex 2.0 back: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/031.jpgRex 2.0 Chainsword: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/034.jpg Troy Gunner- as his name suggests, he is the teams primary source of long range firepower and is engineered with the best prototype ranged gear in the shop. To tell the truth, I haven't even begun working on him yet besides the ideas for his 2.0 form I built on Lego Digital Designer. So far he has an experimental enhancement of Surge 2.0’s ice rifle, enhanced with a scope, extra ammo cartridges and whatnot. I’m also playing with the idea of having a pistol of some kind that I could attach to his hip or maybe a knife for close combat, but I’m not entirely sure yet.Troy LDD: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/057.jpg Jenny Fencer- Jenny is the teams main up close and personal fighter, built to take a lot of blows and stay standing. Similarly to Troy, Jenny has only been built in 2.0 form on the Designer. I wasn’t sure exactly on what her weapons should be, so I made a cresent style sword with a Furno 3.0 bow piece and an axe type weapon (contrary to her name, I know, but it was my first idea haha) out of the 2.0 hook things and the long pin pieces and a mostly defensive version of an ice shield.Jenny LDD: http://www.brickshel...ionicle/056.jpg So the main question I’ve had is what should I do for getting said heroes? I’m torn between buying the sets needed for the project and ordering them from Lego Digital Designer. The thing with getting the sets needed (which would be Stormer 2.0, Surge 2.0, and Nex 2.0) is that it would get me the main pieces needed but I wouldn't get some of the other stuff. The thing with getting them from the Designer is that I'd get everything exactly as planned, but the cost is a lot higher. I'm kinda leaning toward getting them in stores, but what do you think I should do? PLEASE REPLY AND GIVE YOUR HELP, ADVICE AND IDEAS
