  1. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: "A-Ah, sure... I guess I wanted something meaningful, but not just a title..." The Toa explained as he leaned forward in the sheet and looked over at the front desk. "I've got a lot to learn if I want to become a Marine..."
  2. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: "Not a single clue. I-I just woke up with Ta on my back and this tattered cloak." He brought a hand to his cloak and tugged on it slightly in a vain attempt to better conceal the Parakuka on his back. "N-No one recognized me and I wasn't in any records..."
  3. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: The Toa ate very slowly at first. He wiped his juice covered mouth with the back of his hand. "I-I don't really have a name... Well, I was thinking of one..." He said sheepishly.
  4. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: The Toa glanced to his side to see the Ga-Matoran from earlier in the day. His eyes shifted towards the small slice of fruit and he pondered just what kind of fruit it was. However, his hunger overrode any sense of caution. Its taste didn't matter to him as long as it filled him up. "A-Ah, thanks..." The vagabond said as he took a small nibble out of fruit.
  5. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: The Toa nodded and looked around the large lobby for any available seats. He found one a good distance away from any groups of people and sat down. He sat down and scratched his chin. He had never really given much thought to a name for himself and he had hoped that one day his real name would return to him. The anonymous young man sighed and leaned back in the chair as he concentrated on picking an appropriate name.
  6. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: Even to the naive young Toa the Lesterin's facial expression seems rather odd. He felt a slight tinge of trepidation, almost as if he was trapped against a canyon wall by a sand tarakava. The parasite that had latched onto his spine seemed to almost shiver. However, the only response he had was to smile and and nod with the same forced enthusiasm as before. "R-Right! Where do I start?"
  7. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: The Toa followed a couple of steps behind the Lesterin private and took careful note of the inside of the headquarters. "I-I'll try my best then!" He exclaimed with his eyes closed as he tried to force out enthusiasm in his voice.
  8. IC - Nameless [Marine Headquarters]: The Toa was nearly overwhelmed by the sight of the building and stumbled backwards. From atop the Gukko he couldn't really make out the sheer size and scope of the building. It was worlds different from the Sentinel's headquarters in Po-Koro. He cleared his throat before beginning to speak once more. "I-It's huge..." were the only words the young vagabond could mutter. He planted right foot firmly behind him. "C-Can the Marines really find someone like me useful?"
  9. IC - Nameless: The Toa scratched the back of his head as he picked up the pace. "W-Well, I've never really been able to enjoy hunting like t-that. I-It's been the only way to get food..." He kept his cloak hugged around the slug on his back and hoped that the bulge was slightly lesss conspicuous.
  10. IC - Nameless: The Toa nodded as he followed the veteran through the crowds. "I-I've had to hunt for the past few da-" He stumbled briefly as he nearly tripped on some other being's foot. He paused a moment to regain his footing and picked up the pace once more. "W-Well, hunting's not too difficult with traps. I-It's getting to the prey before another rahi does that's the problem..."
  11. IC: Nameless A small smile appeared on the Toa's mask as he nodded and followed behind the Lesterin. The dust and sand from his torn and tattered clothing had blown away from the gukko flights. "I don't really know how to fight... But there is training available right...?" The host said quietly as his thoughts drifted back to the duel.
  12. IC: Nameless [Prison] "I-I just felt as if I could learn more by working as one...T-That and I could really help contribute to something..." He smiled slightly, as somehow the mere thought of doing to something to help felt good. The slug on his back flashed shades of green and orange in his head. The anonymous Toa's own motives were incomprehensible to the parasite. A burning desire to learn more overrided that confusion however and the parakuka remain silent once more.
  13. IC: Nameless [Prison] "Y-Yeah, I'm alright..." The Toa said as he fiddled with his tattered cloak. He scratched his chin and looked over to Tyrus. He shifted uneasily between each foot. "E-Erm, how hard would it be to join the marines...?"
  14. OOC: Sorry about the inactivity, I just moved into the dorms at my university and I'm finally settled in. IC: Nameless [Hura-Mafa River] The vagrant had remained silent throughout the entire situation. He opted not to enter the cell block with Archer and Sucogu. The Toa leaned up against the wall and attempted to remember each movement the two combatants had made. The being leaned forward slightly and glanced around for any patrolling guards. The host stepped to the side and began to slowly mimic the movements tht the lesterin had made with his sword. He remained utterly focused on recreating the technique and form. The Toa stopped mid-swing and looked around once more. His attire had already garnered strange looks from Marines stationed at the prison and it did look rather odd to be practicing swordplay without even a wooden training sword. He coughed and leaned back up against the wall.
  15. IC: Nameless Hura-Mafa River The Toa watched as the duel continued. He folded his arms and focused on the minutest of movements in each the combatatants. The slug on his back was curious as well. Brief flashes of yellow highlighted the movements of the marine's limbs. He brought a single hand up to his chin and took mental notes.
  16. IC: Nameless [Ga-Koro] The Toa adjusted his worn mask and looked around. The odd being's own intentions were dubious and the marine had been perhaps the most courteous person he had met in a long time. The anonymous host glanced over to the other Toa. One word in particular piqued his curiosity. Gukko. It was such a foreign word to him, one that was mentioned sparingly in Po-Koro but never really elaborated upon. "I-I'll help out the best I can..." The nameless Toa finally said with a voice that was scarcely louder than a whisper.
  17. IC: Nameless [Ga-Koro] The toa followed behind the marine. It seemed that this floating village attracted odd beings, himself included. The nameless Toa tilted his head as he looked over at the small being that had just erected a new gate. And although he couldn't put his finger on it the host simply found something off about the whole situation. He scratched the large scar that ran down his mask and observed.
  18. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] The Toa looked around once more at the floating village. He scratched his head as he eyed the giant pads that the village's structures floated idly on. "I-I suppose I can't really spends a night sleeping in between the buildings here." He rummaged through his pockets underneath the cloak and counted each widget in his pocket with his fingertips. It was probably enough for one or two days worth of food but certainly not enough for a room at an inn.
  19. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] "I see. Hmm, I'll try looking for a ship then..." The Toa's voice was soft and the stutter was gone at least for the moment. However, this was only because he didn't make eye-contact with either marine. As the sea wind blew the host wrapped the cloak around himself.
  20. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] He scratched his chin as he tried to remember the reason he came to Ga-Koro in the first place. Shades of yellow flashed on the left side of his vision, courtesy of Ta. The Toa turned his head slightly and caught sight of a small fisher's stall. The rahi hung from their mouths and a table jut out slightly from the fisherwoman's stall. Several fish were arranged on plates in front. "O-Oh, right. I read about the art of fishing and thought that the best place to start learning it was here. T-The text mentioned something about a fishing staff so I wanted to see how those worked."
  21. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] The Toa resisted the urge to suddenly jerk away as the hand fell on his shoulder. He wasn't used to physical contact, let alone a conversation that lasted more than a few words. The young vagabond scratched the top of his scarred mask before answering. "I... don't remember. N-No one recognizes me anyways and there's no records of me in any of the villages..." The Toa's tone was somber. Most of the conversations he did have never addressed his name.
  22. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] At first the Toa looked around before he realized that the old Lesterin's gaze fell on him. The being could feel all the discerning glances from passerbys as well and pulled the cloak closer over his chest. The tell-tale bulge of the slug on his back was slightly more conspicous now. The host couldn't bring himself to look at the Teacher in the eye nor could he keep his own voice from trembling from the anxiety. "O-Oh? I-I'm just looking around the village. I-I suppose I am lost though. It's my first time here..." The quivering voice seemed to fade away. He was used to being ignored in Po-Koro and dismissed as another desert wanderer.
  23. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] "Duty..." The nameless Toa mouthed out that one word. It hung in the air above him like a cloud. On the clean slate that was his mind it seemed to at least cause some sort of recognition. Although he couldn't put his finger on it the words were important enough to trigger something in him. As Ta's host stood there frozen like a statue the small slug hidden underneath the worn cloak pondered the word itself. An obligation or responsibility. But to what was simply unknown to the young Parakuka. He probed the nameless Toa's empty mind for any information besides the definition of the word. Seconds passed before the stranger grasped at his Iden. No memories resurfaced nor did the importance of that word. He looked around at the other beings assembled around the quarrelling party with slight curiosity as the discomfort faded from his temples. The vagabond traced the Ga-Matoran's gaze towards the Lesterin's shoulder but he couldn't make out the insignia.
  24. IC: Nameless [Northern Ga-Koro] The nameless Toa's bright blue eyes scanned around as he remained followed the flow of Matoran. He inhaled deeply, savoring the salty breeze of the sea. However, it was the scent of crushed tea leaves that caught the host's attention. He turned, just catching sight of the Toa-like being passing by who had raised the cup. He turned and began walking towards the old mentor, attracted by the alien aroma of his tea. The nameless Toa looked ahead and spotted the two beings engaged in a discussion. The gray Toa kept his distance as he approached and listened in on the conversation. The slug on his back observed as well and seemed to urge his host to move closer. Flashes of green and blue took over his vision as the nameless Toa hesitantly took a few steps forward.
  25. IC: Nameless [Naho Bay] The boat ride to Ga-Koro was rather uneventful but was, at least to his knowledge, the first time he had ever stepped foot on a seafaring vessel. The nameless Toa looked out of place amongst the other passengers with his tattered cloak and sand-coated clothing. He could feel the stares on him as he planted one foot on the solid wooden dock with hesitation and doubt. As soon as he exited, however, the Toa was swept in the current of the villagers. He looked around in awe as he stood out amongst a sea of Ga-Matoran. OOC: Open for interaction.
