  1. I didn't know they made the zamor spheres in red/yellow like that. I think for the most part it looks pretty good. The one thing I don't like is the side pieces on the feet that stick. To me it seems like they make the feet too big. The rest of the build is good. I'm not really a fan of the dark red in the legs, it doesn't go well with the bright red else where on the MOC. I do like the launcher though, it look pretty cool.

Overall though I think you did a good job with this.

  2. I think the torso adds a lot to this moc, since you managed to make it pretty long and narrow. The color scheme is also really well done. I normally don't like white and grey mocs because they end up looking pretty plain, but this on one it works really well.

Very nice job on this moc.

  3. I like the yellow and grey color scheme. It definitely makes me think of lighting when I see it. I like the rest of the modeling as well. There isn't anything overly exciting about the techniques used but everything flows together pretty smoothly and is visually pleasing to the eyes.

Overall nice job on this, thanks for sharing.

  4. The only thing that's getting me is the minifigures. Yes, I know minifigs are the bread and butter of the set for a lot of AFOLs, and minifigs are pretty standard, but it just doesn't feel right. The minifig has slants and round parts and basically doesn't quite match the blocky minecraft aesthetic. It looks kinda weird with a cube for a head. The skeleton is slightly better because minecraft skeletons have special bodies similar to this one, but it still feels off. I didn't expect them to make a completely new figure for this, but it just doesn't feel right to use minifigures for this.

It possible the designers looked at something different for the minifigs but weren't able to. I remember a few years back when Agents and maybe Toy Story came out that there was an article about how LEGO needed to be careful about changing things with the minifigure so that wouldn't violate their own trademark. It's possible that was the issue here.

The set looks okay, but I'm not a huge fan of minecraft, so I'm going to have to pass on this set.

  5. It's an interesting concept. Too bad most of the part don't exist in real life though. The build isn't too complicated, but it still looks good. Except for the arms, they're just a little bit too long and through the rest of it out of proportion. If you're going to make any changes, I would start with arms. Other then that it's a nice looking MOC.

  6. This is extremely cool. Everything done so well. The legs and arms have just the right amount of armor. The torso is also well done. The chains on the chest, as well as the extended hilt of the sword are nice touches.

Overall nice job on this. I love it.

  7. When I look at it, all I see is a big mess of weapons and it is almost impossible for me to tell what is going on. I don't think that is what you are aiming for. It would probably have been better to just focus on a single weapon instead of three different weapons. The little Bionicle turtle in the corner is really cute though.

As an FYI, you really should change the main picture to something smaller, or resave the current one as a jpg. My computer said the current main picture is 119 MB and it took almost 4 minutes to load.

  8. It looks like you have a good start, but overall it feels like it is unfinished. The size of the legs, arms and the main supports in the center just look flimsy compared to the overall. I think it could use a little additional armor. That would help it appear stronger and more finished.

  9. I like how you built this one. I can definitely see the inspiration from the original Onepu. I agree with a few of the previous commentors, that the head dress might be a little too big. It looks cool, but the size compared to the rest of the body is just a little too big. The rest of it looks really and I like the way the feet try to imitate the original feet.

  10. I really like this one. The build looks elegantly simple, but it still captures everything that an automated turret should have. You also managed to include a few small details, such as the flex tubing on the side and the claw under the gun, that really bring the turret to life.

    Excellent Job!

  11. The ninja's sub is really well done. I've always been a fan of underwater mocs in general and I really like this one. It looks well streamlined. The cannon kind of detracts from that, but I think it still works. The front is also well done. I assume you were trying to model it off of a shark or something similar. The small wings behind the light are also a nice touch.

I think the Taraka Dragon looks a little unfinished as it is right now. The tail, body, and head look well developed and finished but the arms leave something to be desired. The arms are just too long and straight. I think at the very least they could have used some sort decoration on them, if not something completely different.

Overall though, I think you did a pretty good job on this scene.

  12. You did a really nice job with this MOC. I can see the resemblance to the inspiration. It definitely looks very ferocious. I was surprised at how long the tail was. It's a lot longer than the main pictures make it seem.

I really like the way this one looks, good job.

  13. The matoran or okay, but I think the arms seem a little too long for the rest of the body. I really like the Turaga though. He looks pretty good.

I agree with previous posters about the Toa's torso. For the size of the Toa, the torso is just a little bit too big. You may want to consider trying to shrink the torso down a little bit. Or you could also reuse it and try com up with some larger legs and arms. However you did an excellent job with the legs. If you make an modifications I would definitely keep the legs and try to reuse them as well.

  14. I really like this MOC. You did a good job building the body. There is plenty of detailing and there doesn't appear be any part that is really lacking. The feet are really interesting, that's a cool use of the Nuva shoulder armor. The posing for the pictures is also excellent.

    Overall nice job.

  15.

That looks pretty impressive. How tall is it? None of the pictures really give a good sense of scale.

Using the Glatorian heads for the eyes is pretty cool. The rest of the detailing is also really well done. My only complaint is that there just seems to be too many different colors and it leads to it seeming at little too busy. Other than that, though, it is an extremely well done and impressive MOC.

Some new Bionicle sets have yet more colors. Beside it, I made him from 10 HF sets and Captain America, so I don't have too much black and red parts, it really take me some time to make him look good.

And he have about 39 cm.

I figured that was why there were so many colors. You did a good job working with the the colors you had. Knowing the size makes it seem even more impressive, since that is a fairly tall MOC.

  17. I didn't realize that the head was made from system bricks and not just the standard Bionicle head. The rest of the body seems pretty ordinary, but that head is something I haven't seen before. The neck seems like it's a little too long, but I don't think there is anything you can do about it.

The color scheme also appears to everywhere, but the back story does a good job of explaining it. It does make him seem a lot more battle worn.

Very good job with this Toa.

  18. That is definitely interesting look MOC. The orange beard jumps out right away. I've never seen a piece used like that to give a Bionicle a beard. Is there a purpose for the launcher mounted next to his head? It seems like the hips are a little too wide. I would try to narrow them if possible, unless you need that big to accommodate the feet.

Nice job on a very interesting MOC.
