Bow in hand
By Bfahome,
Oh nooooo, I've started to work up a character concept based on that leg. ;__;
Oh well, I guess I'l just be wholly unsatisfied with myself until I actually build it or I get distracted by another idea.

Had this thing for eight years now.
(And I've had this blog title for almost half of that, neat!)

I'm almost at my spinnies now.
Also I might make a comic for it but I don't feel like it right now.

Ingredients:
2 eggs
1 russet potato
shredded cheese
2 pretzel buns
onion
Yields 2 sandwiches.
Clean and shred the potato. Don't bother peeling it.
Dice the onion. Use about half as much onion as you have potato shreds.
Beat both eggs, either separately or with some way to have them be two equal portions.
Place potato and onion in a hot pan (around medium temperature, depends on stove and burner size) and cook until potato becomes translucent.
Once cooked, remove from pan. Mix shredded cheese in with the potato and onion (amount depends on how much cheese you want).
Place pretzel buns in toaster (cut in half). Let these toast during the next steps, but make sure they don't burn.
Take half of the potato/onion/cheese mixture, form it into a vague patty shape, and place it in the pan, still on the same temperature.
Add a small amount of the beaten egg around the edges of the "patty", scraping it up against the edge with a spatula as it cooks to define the patty shape. Flip it over and do the same. Repeat until one egg is gone.
Cook patty (on both sides) until you are satisfied with how the egg looks.
Repeat cooking process for second half of potato/onion/cheese mix and second egg.
Place patties on toasted pretzel buns. Add more cheese if you feel like it.
Enjoy.

Target only had Onua, Umarak, Tahu, and Kopaka as far as new BIONICLE selection goes, so I got Phasma instead. - Read more...

Won this at the premiere of The Force Awakens as part of a charity raffle done by the local clan of the Mandalorian Mercs. Finally got it today, because I was on break and had a friend pick it up for me instead.
I like it, but find the posing to be a bit difficult because she's not a force user so you can't do many "hand outstretched" poses, which is a bummer.

Or it would be, if the roof wasn't dripping water. Sure is rainy here. In Maine. In December.
Maybe I wasn't quick enough on the bells.

The final member of the team is on the way to being done, with a few bits of placeholder armor in gold for the time being. I'll need to find some tan shells in places other than Grievous, because I like Grievous.
And don't worry, even though the torso isn't flipped like on the original I still put a gear on his butt. Just couldn't find a nice way to attach the head otherwise.

CCBS Toa Nuva
By Bfahome,
Back when I initially built my "Hero Factory Toa" I had been trying to think of ways to make Nuva versions as well, but couldn't think of any decent way to recreate the shoulder armor. But now that these new shoulder armor pieces exist, and in silver, that concern is trivial.
Thank you, LEGO, for continuing to help me realize my dumb little dreams. <3

Hi! Okay, as with last year, I'm not going with any of the suggestions given. Not for lack of quality, but you're competing against Wolfgun lyrics here, so it's an uphill battle even at the best of times.
Anyway, the winner is Zox Tomana, who suggested "BIONICLE Fan At Large". Even though I'm not going to use it, I found it amusing and clever.
There weren't as many entries this year, though, so maybe I'll have to be a bit more clever with how I do this in the future.

You know the drill.
Comment with your suggestion(s), and I might use one. As judged by me, best suggestion by a non-Premier Member gets a free six-month Premier Membership.
Go.

(a tempest through the years)
This movie was pretty much everything I wanted it to be.
A bit more screen time for Phasma would not have been amiss, but other than that I have no complaints.

Cordak ammo
By Bfahome,
I've never really been able to tell why the missing "rib" on the lower portion isn't there. Anyone know? Better barrel fit, lower friction, some connection method I haven't discovered yet?
