So, I've decided to share playlists via my blog. I'll be updating whenever I feel like.
First one up: Percussion Perfection
As the name implies, only the best drummers are here. I tried not to repeat artists, cause I never like doing that, but there's always exceptions.
1. Rock and Roll -Led Zeppelin
2. Moby Dick- Led Zeppelin
3. Hot For Teacher- Van Halen
4. In Her Drawer- Rx Bandits
5. The Fallen Interlude- Blink 182
6. Who Are You?- The Who
7. Halo- Bloc Party
8. Knights- Minus the Bear
9. Deadly Rhythm- Refused
10. Toxicity- System of a Down
11. Dry the River- Maylene and the Sons of Disaster
12. Around the World- Red Hot Chili Peppers
13. The Archers Bows Have Broken- Brand New
14. Roulette Dares (The Haunt of)- The Mars Volta
15. Wax Simulacra- The Mars Volta
This is actually directly related to the previous entry.
I need a new iPod, preferably a 160GB.
Who's gonna help me out?
Who's gonna feed my addiction?
Who's gonna give/find me a ridiculously good deal on aforementioned iPod?
Graaaah. I dunno how much longer I can take this.
I got class Monday through Friday, and work at least 24 hours on the weekends alone. And when I'm not doing either of those, I'm helping take care of everything around the house, since my grandma just had knee replacement surgery.
1. Going 70 down the highway with the windows down while blasting Modest Mouse.
2. Rocking out to Rage Against the Machine while in the shower.
3. Listening to Sigur Ros while studying.
4. Breaking out into singing whenever me or my friends put on "Bohemian Rhapsody".
5. Drumming the intro to "Wax Simulacra" at work on my downtime, even though I'm sure I'm doing it wrong.
6. Finding new music to love.
7. Discovering that my 80 GB iPod still isn't enough for all my music.
8. Throwing people off by telling them I like Zao -and- Mates of State.
9. Confusing people with random lyrics.
10. That my idea of an awesome Christmas song is "Don't Shoot Me Santa".
11. Going to an incredible and wild concert, almost losing my glasses only to have them returned by an amazingly cute girl later.
12. Getting this Sound of Music song stuck in people's head.
13. Lip syncing "New Noise" in my car and watching people give me weird looks.
14. Turning people on to/hooking people up with new music. (Feel free to contact me about this one.)
This will be updated later, I'm sure, as I find new and amazing experiences.
Just thought I'd share these.
I am
a) ridiculously tired.
b) going on a date of sorts with an incredible girl this weekend.
c) mind-blowingly amazing at making playlists.
d) in need of some sort of software that will allow me to fade three songs into each other.
e) all of the above.
Also, would anyone be interested in me sharing said playlists?
Y'know how everyone says "you don't know what you've got till it's gone"?
Its so true. I had taken my iPod for advantage. I had, to an extent, forgotten how much I love music, and being able to listen to it anywhere and anytime.
