I loved the doomtoran from 2006. Lego really succeeded in showing us that not all matoran were like the metrutoran. I also voted for the Inika as the best wave of toa. While they weren't unique compared to each other, they revolutionized how toa were built. The villains were a tough one. For me, the Piraka and Barraki are tied for the best, but I voted Piraka simply because the option was listed before the Barraki.
I wanted to vote for any wave from the Mata Nui years, but I figured it wouldn't be fair to the rest of Bionicle's years.

I absolutely loved Breakout's sets. It seemed as if every character finally became truly unique due to the more extreme differences (size, weapons, etc.). Most of my HF parts are from 2012. However, I still like some of the original HF villains from 2010, especially Rotor. All that orange made me drool when I got him.
Last year was definitely the worst.

I believe mine was either Stormer XL or breakout Bulk, which I got simultaneously with Core Hunter. HF peaked in 2012 for me.

My only gripe about Onua is the gold armor on his arms and legs. Recolor them black or just take them away and he would look 10x better.
Kopaka, though, could use some work.

This was my reaction to seeing the new gears in that review of Tahu. Until I get my hands on the sets, I'm going to try and figure out how Lego did that by miserably failing to replicate the new gear box.
-
My first Toa were Onua and Pohatu (I got them as one birthday gift), so them without a doubt.
But it's not like the order matters. I'm going to end up getting them all anyway lol.

Metru Nui vehicles would have been great, specifically those used by Matoran.

In retrospect, 2009 was not one of Bionicle's better years. At the beginning of the year, the story moved to a new planet with new characters, mythology, and culture. It really could have gone the way of 2001-that is, it could have had an aura of mystery. I mean, there was so much for the story to introduce and expand on outside of the novels, but 2009 just turned out to be...boring.
2009 wasn't great with set designs, either.

If it wasn't one of the choice BZP avatars, it was something I made for my very early kit. It's probably since been deleted from my computer.
For the longest time, though, I had Stardust Dragon as my avatar and banner. Now here I am with my present...setup.

I go through the news archives every now and then. It's fun to skim through the old reviews and read the captions under the pictures.
I haven't visited the old forum in a while. Last time I was there I cringed at some of my old posts.

Not sure if they're underrated, but I really like the Doomtoran from 2006. Each one had his or her own design, except for Garan and Velika sharing one. Plus the Bohrok feet were used in a really interesting way; I wouldn't have thought of using them as torsos.

I haven't laughed this hard in a while, OP. Maybe you could have FaZe-ified any Toa team, but I think it really works with the Mahri. The taco blasters and Wolverine's claw are my favorite parts.
It's as if Hahli is ready to get a cross-map tomahawk on Nuketown.
Oh man, I'm just noticing the hitmarkers on the cordak ammo now...

The only years that I'm missing quite a few sets from are the Metru Nui and Bara Magna years. Everything else is complete or near complete (2001 is my only truly complete year).
As for kanohi/krana/kraata, I have a long way to go.

2x Krana Xa: 1 green and 1 yellow
2x Krana Vu: 1 ice blue 1 tan
3x Krana Su: 1 orange, 1 yellow, and 1 green
1 yellow Krana Za
2x Krana Ca: 1 red and 1 blue
4x Krana Ja: 1 ice blue, 1 orange, 1 red, and 1 purple
2x Krana Bo: 1 purple and 1 white
I never tried to collect Krana, but it would be nice to have just 1 Krana Yo instead of so many Ja's .

Honestly the Metru/Hagah body is my favorite. It's highly versatile and poseable yet has gear functions.
The Hordika body comes in last by far. I'm sorry but I can't describe it without saying it's just plain ugly.

My hype levels are through the roof. The Halo 5 beta will be arena-style with 7 maps, 3 gametypes, 11 weapons, and several armor sets for players.
Halo 2 Anniversary also got some time in the spotlight. Still waiting for Forge info.

Probably GD, BBC, or the artwork forum. I'm leaning towards the latter because the comics were one of my homes in my early/nub years.
-
That was me after BZP.new first launched in late 2011, but I gradually visited the site less and less. I'm back, though (hopefully I don't drift off again).

It's been so long that I can't remember anymore. All I know is that I discovered BZP in early 2007 but didn't join until mid-2008.
-
It's that awesome variant of the first Bionicle comic.
-
Before Bionicle ended, BZP was much more active. There were more comic makers, more GD threads, and more everything. I remember when I posted so much that I broke 2 posts per day for my PPD count. Posting and proto essentially meant everything; they were the equivalent of being a Mythic member over at Bungie years ago.
Honestly, old BZP was one of the most active forums I've ever seen.

I'd go with Mata Nui. Metru Nui would be cool, but I think it would start feeling like a drag after a few days, like a trip to New York CIty would. On the island of Mata Nui, there would be a lot to see and it would all be spread out. Plus I think it would feel much more peaceful than a busy city.
-
I got my hands on Rotor first mainly because of the orange and black color scheme.
-
Exo-Toa. I've been trying to get my hands on that set for as long as I can remember.
Which original Toa of each wave was the worst?

2008 was a really easy choice for me. While I liked the Phantoka a lot, the Mistika were very disappointing, especially Onua. For him, I expected a much bulkier and shorter build to continue his traditional look.
2002 was tough, but I had to go with Kopaka just because he was the only toa who lacked two hands.
2001 was an incredibly hard choice for me. Despite Lewa being one of my favorite characters, I had top say his original design was the worst of the Toa Mata. It's annoying digging around for a gear just to make sure his arm doesn't hang.
