This is a slightly upgraded version of Haywire. I’ve added a few extra trans pieces and took off the weird light on the tail. The main reason for this was to take photos on black. I was very happy with the results.
My main goal is to make this larger and turn it into a stylized Portuguese Man o' War. I just need more of those crystal blue pieces. I have one extra besides the ones on this. Now that I think about it, I may be able to work around it. It will be hard though. I'm still thinking of designs for the tetacles.
Thoughts?
Also, I decided that this and Zip's crab MOC would be the only ones I'm sending out.
I'm super excited for Brickfair! It's too bad that school starts on the 9th, and registration is like on the 5th. I would so go.
Anyway, I'm sending four things: The crab MOC for Zip, fire-flea, Ballom, and a new MOC that I just ordered the final pieces for. I may throw in an extra treat, but currently, that's it. Should I send this?
I'm hoping Smeag, DV, and the gang take good care of them while there away.
Has anyone followed the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand? If you havn't yet, I suggest you do.
"Spartacus: Blood and Sand is a Starz television series that premiered on January 22, 2010. The series focuses on the historical figure of Spartacus (played by Andy Whitfield), a Thracian gladiator who from 73 to 71 BC led a major slave uprising against the Roman Republic."
It’s pretty awesome. I will admit that the first two episodes are dry because of the little plot and nonstop blood and sand, but boy does it gets better. Each episode is better than the last. There are so many devious characters with their own conniving goals. On top of that, the show keeps a balance of comedy. The finale is purely epic in both plot and battle too. Lol, if you don’t like to see bloody battles, I don’t suggest watching it.
Anyway, I suggest not looking up the real Sparticus if you do not know his story. It may leak spoilers of the show, and what is to come in the future 2nd season. If you do, please use spoilers for that and for others who haven't seen the episodes.
There needs to be a word for building with LEGO products. I'm working on my resume for an internship at a hospital, and I wanted to put LEGO as one of my interests. I wish there was some official word, or a professional term, for people who build with LEGO. Maybe we can create one, if the term does no already exist.
School sucks so much now. I can honestly say that it’s the worst semester I’ve had. Hopefully the end will be fun. =)

It’s been a long time coming, but I’ve finally finished my MOC of the big B himself, Ballom. I have WIP pics that date back over a year ago. So don’t blame Ballom if he destroys me for taking too long.
Pictures will take about a week to show, for I have little skill in taking MOC photos that have white pieces. I need some practice before I can show the final product. As usual, tips are very welcome.

I have several MOCs I want to publish by summer’s end. I have a MOC for Brickfair, and I also need to finish ER and Aklan (Is he still active?).

My condolences go out to nnenn’s family. He will remain a titan among MOCists.
I just took some shots of my 57 entry. It will be up on Tuesday or Wednesday. I like it, although some of the design irks me. It can’t be helped though.
I know so many of you that watch MTV's Jersey Shore want to know how the cast performs those awesome fist pumps. So, let me introduce you to the situation.
This in-depth guide will make you the highlight of any party or dance.
Jetray and Bigchill seemed like the best choices out of the bunch. I was surprised on how big some of the pieces were! I was also surprised on how much I loved the colors.
Both of these guys have awesome wing pieces and head molds. I love the torso even more now that I see it in person too.
I wouldn't say I recommend you getting more than one of these guys (lame price), but if you do, you'll enjoy them.
Can't say I have any plans for MOCs yet, but I'm sure I'll find some.
Do you know that feeling you get when you think you don't have enough of a critical piece for a MOC, and then you find out you do?
Like Primus and Laka, I've been building a MOC to work with some of the Ben 10 pieces. I plan on picking up Jetray this week, so I can finish the guy up.
I at least need to get 2 or 3 MOCs out of the set to make it worth the price....
So, what are your opinions on the Ben 10 sets? I know most people don't have them, but I'd like to hear anyway.
So, as you have noticed, the blog is back! It’s been quite awhile has it not? I believe that my membership ended back in the 10th grade. I’m now in my second semester of my junior year. So yeah, it’s been awhile.
So let’s see. I’ll try to summarize everything into 5 points. Before I get ahead of myself though, I’d like to introduce myself to members who I haven’t had the chance to meet. Most people call me BD on here. I’m 16, and an obvious fan of LEGO. I enjoy MOCing, and my goal is to place 1st in a BBC. It’s literally my driving force to improve my skills.
Now, let’s move on to the more important matters.
• I’m not too disappointed over the ending of Bionicle. It is a bummer however, the story will go on, and so that’s not too bad. The fact that it gives Greg a bit of outlet in his writing is a cool thing too.
• I’m a bit disappointed about some of the MOCs in the BBC forum lately. I want to see some more creativity with part usage and design. Break out of what is considered the norm, and try some experimentation. Not to say that the MOCs are bad, but some are a tad cliché. I am really impressed though by improvements I’ve seen in a lot of you guys. Keep working hard.
• Also, some of these MOCs need better reviews. Velox and the team, as well as others, are doing a great job, but they need more support. I can’t say too much about this, as I myself have not been doing my job and reviewing MOCs like I should.
• I plan to MOC more this year. You can check out my latest MOC Chrome, and expect more MOCs of some BZP members coming soon.
• School has been great so far. More AP this semester though. It’s going to be a boring bummer, but I’ll manage.
I hope you guys had a good holiday. This update may have been a tad dry, but check back here for much more!
About one more week until school starts for me. That means the end of my summer. But, I still have 4 prize MOCs to finish so I have to stick around a little longer. Or maybe I will just send them through MSN. I'm thinking about scraping some of my other MOCs to cut some time and finish those 4.
Then I have to do my self-MOC and maybe Kanohi Dragon as the finale.
*I don't plan on entering BBCC 51*
Probably sell my pieces for cash. I don't know where though.
~BD~
P.S. sorry for not getting to your PMs, I've been having little computer access.
As a way to expand my MOCing skills, I will be realeasing a series a Rahi MOCs. As most of you know, I build humanoids, so I thought I would try something diffrent this time. I know alot of you are getting tired of the same old thing from me. So, expect about five new MOCs each being some sort of Rahi. Or maybe I should stick to humanoids?
First up will be some type of large swamp caterpillar. I really like the idea of Karda-Nui swamp being a mystery. We really don't know what lurks in it...
Any ideas for unique swampy Rahi would be welcomed.
Also, if anyone wants to discuss ideas for MOCs they are working on, or need some input, drop me a PM!
