I never thought I would have seen so many people jealous and upset because of BBCC 50. And I never would have thought people would have decided who they would vote for before any entries were built. I've lost alot of respect for many people in the BBCC forum, and gained alot for those who didn't complain.
And in other news, I have a MOC that I will be posting soon!
Oh yes, can someone please make a blog contest? I have Distorted's contest, but I need more...
If BBC Contest 50 doesn't show up this month, it will actually be good for me. I really have alot of MOCs I need to shoot out, but I don't want to be tempted to destroy them and build an entry for it.
Anyway, would it be wise to seperate pieces by colors? I'm not sure becasue if it is not, I don't want to waste any time.
Got some pieces in the mail today. I'll try to get a pic for you guys later. I was suprised how fast they came! And with that, I have some blue pieces for My self MOC.
Anyway, I can't wait for BBCC 50! I have Seranikai almost finished too. Hopefully I get get him done withought having to use his pieces if the contest pops up.
P.S. My favorite thing about Twilight Princess is the part where you open up Malo Mart in Castle Town.
*Buy one* *Get one* *If you want one* *You can get one* Still have that song stuck in my head!
Oh, and I have found myself watching the Gargoyles series again. Good memories!
Ok, so I'm half way threw with some new designs to the blog. I plan to ad da section for MOCs, as well as something new I have planned. I'm wondering, does anyone have any good ideas for a something of the week. I want something diffrent from what has been used before. Any ideas?
Also, blogy AP's can be given again! On that, please only give it to me if I truly deserve it. Expect many new things as well. Maybe some new contests and games. I will also be starting a club, so get ready!
Finally finished Twilight Princess. Got the game when it first came out and played it over Winter break back in 06. When the break was over, I stopped playing. Here it is almost two years later and I got around to playing again.
Oh, please tell me the Legend of Zelda Movie trailer that appeared on or around "April Fool's Day" is fake...
Ok, now I kind of want BBC Contest 50 to come. The BBC topic has been pretty dry of new stuff lately... I guess I can take some WIP pics later on. I added Spiriah as a quick little project. His build seemed a tad strange to be called a Makuta. I can finish him in like two days if you guys can come up with some color suggestions. S&T entry is coming along well. It's a description, but you guys will enjoy it.
In other new, Iron Man and Indiana Jones was good, but I am now looking foward to The Hulk, The Happening, and Don't Mess with the Zohan, and The Love Guru. Well that's all that I have for today. Feel free to shoot me a P.M. to talk about whatever you want.
I've had these strange thoughts on MOCing lately as my time winds down for departing with you all. Where should I begin? You look across all of your pieces huddled together in a large blue container. Many, many, many, pieces of diffrent shapes, sizes, and colors. Anyway, as you begin to build something, you get hit with reality... MOCing can be difficult at times. But that's what you like about it. It challenges you to try something diffrent. So you push on working harder every day to master new designs and skills.
A week later, and you have finally finished your masterpiece. You build something totaly diffrent... a design never done before... and your like WOW... all that effort and hard work really payed off! So you get your little camera out a set up a nice photo shoot. Next day you load the pictures to brickshelf.
After a few days on BZP, you notice another topic with a similar design to the creation you just put up on BZP. You then realize that that design was to intricate for someone else to have just suprisingly come up with. The only diffrence happens to be one piece.
You get angry becasue you worked hard and someone just ripped you off. But then maybe that actually was their own design and they had never seen it before. And of course, shortly after, more of the same design begins to put up on other MOCs. Do you get angry because that is your design and you should be entitled to it always... or feel happy becasue you actually made a good MOC and enjoyed doing it?
So ask yourself this....
Do you MOC for fame? or do you MOC because you just love that challenge of doing it?
Okay, so this isn't really directed at anyone, because no one (I hope) has stolen my designs. It does raise questions for others who have had their designs stolen though...
P.S. Anyone is welcome to correct my spellings. I typed this in a rush before my show came on.
Working with Keet orange is very difficult for the lack of pieces, but I have finaly pulled off something very impressive with it.
It pays having two Keetongu. The pieces really came in handy when making the leags and arms.
I must say, I think I have pulled off a more beast like side of him. After all, he is supposed to be a rahi.
You know the hardest thing was the head. I really wanted to stick with the original head plate. I guess luck was on my side because the design worked perfectly!
Have you ever had it where your building one thing and it turns into something else?
So a few days ago, I was sitting down working on Umbra when a had a strange spark to do something else. I began to switch the colors... and then I saw something. I saw the yellow beast Keetongu. So, I dropped Umbra and started Keetongu who I must say looks so much better.
It gave me one of those chills. The kind you get when you know you have a good MOC.
Anyway, I need some stuff to spice up the blog. It seems boring to me. Any suggestions?
No, I have not left yet. I was just making a few adjustments to the blog, banner, avy, and creating some new MOCs that will be posted later. Also, most of my time has been consumed by finals and other tests of that sort. I must say that it feels good to be back though.
