    Alright guys,

I'm looking for some good ambient techno/remix albums. I like progressive metalcore, etc. and Bring Me the Horizon's Suicide Season Cut up! is a perfect example of what I like.

I also need some techno music (a la Daft Punk) that I can play while I study/relax.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

I don't even get on the internet on April Fools'.

Needless to say, old guy running the toll bridge booth scared me to death. As I handed him my money, he said:

"Sorry, we've been getting a bunch of counterfeit 20 dollar bills lately. I can't accept that."

"It's all I have!" I proclaim, with a slight sense of urgency in my voice, because I was already running a little bit behind and I had a test in my first class. I also had to stop by the bookstore to pick up a scantron.

    "How about...April Fools'!"

I should've thrown all my pennies at him and sped off. But I wanted my change from the $20 back, so I didn't.

My sister turned 24! So happy birthday to her.

    Relationships aren't easy.

I'll get right to it. I broke up with my girlfriend last night. No, I'm not totally heartbroken. But don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly happy either. I enjoyed being able to call Lacy my "girlfriend" and have the privilege of spending time with her. It was a good 9 months. We went to Orlando, went to the beach, went on dates, etc. We started dating in June of summer 2009. I had money and too much time on my hands. Unfortunately, both my time and money slowly began to dwindle as I entered my sophomore year in college.

I haven't had a job since May 2009. I'm extremely thankful that my parents are able to provide me with gas and food money every month. Without them, I'd be lost. I'm also on a scholarship at my university that requires I maintain a 3.0 GPA to keep my scholarship. That is essentially a "B" average, and while it's not necessarily hard, it isn't a walk through the park either. I've been more absorbed with school work than I ever have in my life. This reflected in my relationship with my girlfriend.

Since the beginning of this year, we would only ever really see each other on Wednesdays and Saturdays/Sundays when we were both at church. My class schedule interfered greatly with the amount of time we could spend with each other. I couldn't take her out, couldn't even just drive around town. All of thus, with a luck of a steady income, put a great strain on our relationship.

I believe dating to be a tool used to find the person I will end up marrying. Think of it as this: dating is like carving a sculpture. I learned things about Lacy that I loved, and some things that I didn't like. I learned things about what I want in a woman in general. I was carving away at the sculpture of a woman that I would want to marry. I do not regret anything of my relationship with her.

At times I didn't feel that she was very supportive of me and what I was trying to do with my career by going to school. She would tell me that I wasn't meeting her needs, and so I would try my best to do things for her that would let her know that I really loved her. I'm not perfect. There's only so much I can do. I wanted everything to work out between us.

I started praying and asking for guidance about what to do with this relationship about three weeks ago. Lacy let me know numerous times that she really did love me, and I loved her, but I began to feel as if God was urging me to prepare to move on with my life. It probably began when I first realized that I wasn't going to be able to give her the attention that she needs right now. I wish I could have, but school is taking up 100% of my time right now.

I have tentative plans to enroll in a Disney internship that will be at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, in January 2011 with a good friend of mine. I think that I have greater things in store for me, and that my time left in Montgomery, Alabama, is coming to a close. I'm going to start a career. It won't be here, with my family, my friends. In my safe zone. A couple weeks back it suddenly hit me that I'm going to move away one day, far away, and not be within walking distance of my family. I've always been afraid of being alone. Luckily, we have things like Skype now to keep me close to my family.

I'm not looking for sympathy. I think I just had to put how I'm feeling into actual words that I can see so that I can realize what's happening. I never allowed myself to get too attached to my girlfriend, because I didn't go into this with the intentions of anything long-term. I'm surprised it worked as long as it did. I've never had a girlfriend before.

We ended on good terms though. The feelings were mutual. I think what I'm dreading most is facing her family (her mother and father are the youth/college pastors at my church, her brother is a good friend of mine) and all the questions from friends and such. But whatever, I don't regret a thing, so yeah...

Do you have Halo 3: ODST?

Are you looking for someone to complete the Vidmaster Challenges Deja Vu and Endure?

Do you have the skill to complete these achievements?

Then mrmobado/Watashi Wa is looking for YOU! Yes, YOU!

I'm looking for up to three other plays who would be willing to spend a little time with myself to get these achievements. Respond to this blog post if you want to join.

It's that time of the semester.

    Midterms

    Or, in my case...

One exam, one midterm, and two finals

So you're probably asking,"Watashi Wa, how do you have two finals half way through the semester?"

Well, dear friend, that is because I enrolled in three half-semester classes: Business Law and Regulation of Business, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.

"But you said you have two finals!"

Yes, I do. That is because I am currently only taking the two former class. I will pick up Macro once I finish Micro.

I've roughly worked the numbers, and I believe I need to make at least a 90 on my Business final (obtainable, I made a 93.75 on the second exam) as well as a near 100 on my Micro test to make "A"s in both of those classes. I'm not worried about Business, but to make an "A" in Micro I also have to get a perfect 5/5 on the homework due Tuesday which will be tough because my professor is very finicky when grading the homwork. I'd also have to make at least a 95 on the final to get an "A" in the class. I'm going to try my hardest in hopes of the best grade possible, but given the circumstance a "B" won't be a disappointment as much as it will be just a minor frustration.

Needless to say, don't expect to see much on much until Friday. I'm going to hit the books hard this week in hopes of pulling my GPA up a bit.

    Wish me luck!

I understand the "meaning/purpose" behind group projects in college, but it never fails that I'm usually left with doing the majority of the work. Granted, this time I actually have another guy helping me do the research, but it would be nowhere near as easy if the other two guys actually did their part.

Our presentation is tomorrow at 2:10 and I've yet to receive our fourth members information so that I can import it into the Powerpoint. He won't answer any of my texts or emails. He claimed to have sent it back on Thursday, but I never received any email from him.

Guy #3 pretty much just copy/pasted info from a webpage. So that's cool.

Maybe guy #4 won't answer me because he dropped the class? Best case scenario. You're going to have to suck it up at some point pal. Good luck making it in life with that kind of work ethic.

    What the what??

Can has Mass Effect 3 now?

Only one person didn't survive the mission, but I didn't really like that member anyways. I'll go through again from my last save and hopefully be able to save them all so I can get that one blasted achievement.

Excellent game. I eagerly anticipate the finale of the series. Hats off to you BioWare, I don't think a video game series has ever had such an intriguing story.

Now to study for this Statistics test I've been dreading...
  9. Watashi Wa
...FOR MAKING A GAME THAT I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT!!

Seriously, I mean c'mon. I'm taking 5 information heavy classes this semester and then Mass Effect 2 comes out and just kinda soaks up all my time before I even realize it.

"I just want to get Garrus' loyalty and then I'll go study," I reassure myself. "What the what its 2 o'clock in the morning!"

Yesterday I got to the "big twist" of the game, which was a horrible mistake. I had a Business Law test today and I could hardly review my notes because I couldn't get that scenario out of my head and the implications it may have on the rest of the series.

Stop making good excellent games BioWare! You're ruining my college career! >: (

Tragedy struck at the Wa^2 household yesterday evening. While trying to setup and enjoy a lovely game of Halo 3:ODST's Firefight mode with good friend Than: Matoran of Anger, my Xbox360 began to not want to work properly. I've had problems with ODST giving me disc read errors (somewhat common among consumers who bought said game), but last night I was getting the error whenever we would try to start any game. What was already an annoying problem turned even worse when my Xbox began to freeze. I turned off my box, turned it on, and only then did I see the Three Red Lights of Death staring deep into my soul...

And so ends the service of my third Xbox360. She was a good one, lasting nearly three whole years. But alas, the time has come to part our ways...

And, of course, all of this happens 5 days before Mass Effect 2, only the greatest game ever, hits store shelves.

I guess this gives me time to finish my adventure in The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass that I started over two weeks ago when I was in the hospital.

Here's to you, Fourth Xbox360! Your fallen comrades have given me numerous hours of pleasure and entertainment! If ye fail too, I fear it may be the last, only because the infamous 3-year Warranty is slowly but surely winding to a close for me.

Did the Toa Hordika come with specific rhotuka? If so what are their codes? I need the codes for the black and white Visorak too.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm about to put my whole collection up for sale so I want to make sure I send the right things with the right sets.

So tonight after church, a couple of my friends and I were sitting around on some couches talking. We had Brinner (breakfast for dinner, for those of you who don't know) but my pastor's wife dropped the plate of bacon. Tragedy.

Anywho, my friend made a comment about how he wishes there was a fast food place that served real, good bacon.

    "Like Steak-Out," I said. "Except, we'll call it Bac-in."

    "We'll be sooo rich."

Our first dish will be lasagna, but use bacon instead of pasta.

Why is that you only ever -really- want Chic-Fil-A on Sunday, the one day that they are closed?

Sausage burrito would have been so good this morning...

2009 was a great year for me. In review, here are some of the reasons why I thought this year was awesome:

    - Finished my first year of college
    - Met one of my closest friends
    - Drove by myself to San Antonio to see said friend graduate from Basic Military Training
    - Went on a youth trip to Orlando, Florida; while there, I went to Walt Disney World for the first time (okay, second, but first was when I was about 2 years old)
    - Went on a family vacation to Williamsburg, Virginia, probably my favorite place in America; while there went to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA.
    - Started my second year of college
    - Met a girl named Lacy
    - Started dating Lacy
    - Went to Van's 15th annual Warped Tour, saw The Devil Wears Prada and A Day To Remember
    - Finally saw all three of my favorite bands - The Devil Wears Prada, August Burns Red, and Emery
    - Emery actually came to the venue at my church, of which I helped each time we had a show.
    - My nephew turned 2 years old ^^

I hope all of you had a great year as well, and I wish you many safe and joyous years to come.

    Happy New Years!

Well, I've been meaning to do this for a while now, but I've finally found the motivation and time to organize and get this off the ground. I have decided to sell most of my old BIONICLE sets and collectibles. Sets include: most Nuva, 3 Rahkshi, some Bohrok/Kal, all Hordika, Keetongu, Ultimate Dume, two Visorak, one Rahi, all Vahki, and some other sets I can't really remember what they're called. My collectibles include: ALL Kanohi olda + gold & silver, most Nuva, most misprints, as well as most of the Krana-Kal, I think.

I still have to check and make sure I have all the instructions for the sets I have. Then I have to make sure I have all the correct parts with the correct set. Hopefully I can get a topic open sometime this weekend.

I'm also selling some of my old college text books online. This is my first time doing this, so it will be an experience builder. The Used Collegiate Bookstore gives you waaay less than what most of those books cost in the first place, so maybe selling online will get my parents a little bit more money back.

Seeing a motion picture from the second row is never fun. I've just decided that I -haven't- seen Sherlock Holmes yet until I can sit up in the theatre a bit more (our theatre has stadium seating).

However, from what I could watch, Holmes was a great movie. Murder-mysteries are one of my top favorite types, along with Sci-Fi/Fantasy films and Sherlock Holmes ranks up on my list of favorite movies of 2009.

I particularly enjoyed the bond between Holmes and Watson. Guy Ritchie (the director of the film) did a great job of showing their bond more of a brotherly relationship rather than a detective and his side-kick. In this version, both Holmes and Watson know how to kick some serious butt, yet have the brains to back up their brawn. Robert Downy Jr. and Jude Law gave superb performances, yet I felt Rachel McAdams was overwhelmed by Downy and Law. Many of her scenes just didn't match up to Downy's and Law's acting.

The story was relatively easy enough to follow and picks up from the very beginning of the film, so you never feel like the movie should be moving faster. There wasn't much of a shocking ending, everything is kind of explained along the way. The ending was still satisfying, however.

And of course, like every modern film it seems, there will be a sequel. Though, I am rather excited for continuation of this story. Robert Downy Jr has set himself up in another great franchise along with Iron Man (the trailer for the second Iron Man was -awesome-.)

My Zune HD. This thing is sweet. The browser is awesome and the keyboard is even better. Im going to have to make a concious effort to NOT take this to class next semester.
All movements on the touch screen are incredibly fluid and smooth. I've yet to watch any videos on here yet, but the preloaded pictures look lovely.
My only gripe is that the storage is only 32. I'm sure next year there will be another version coming out though. So if you need more space for your music, wait.
