I started work on an eye-searing lime and old yellow MOC last night. Coming out pretty well so far. The Ventorus aren't disbanded either.
-
I told you today was going to be a MOCing extravaganza thing.
-
Yeah, allow me to blatantly advertise my entry to the BBC #56. This is the first BIONICLE MOC I've cranked out in about 11 months, so please don't hurt me. YEAAAAAAAAAH
-
This one's by Darth Vader, and it's called Commander Stropes. I like that prototype Miru, it looks very nice on the MOC.

Well, I'll update you on some stuff. This Wednesday is going to blow you away. I'm going to (probably) FLOOD the BBC Forum with stuff, like -The yellow elephant (name suggestions?) -Gunmetal and light blur (ahem, blue) guy -The Discontinued Color fgdnfkgjnerogwenrgu (k, never mind =P) -BBCC 56 (yes, I'm entering. The MOC is just about finished.) Stay tuned.

oh how perfectly that fits with the entry subject ++++ ponderings on current MOC mctoran feet are the best part. forever and ever. I have far more of them than I thought. arm design is better as legs bleargh I must design new arms now gah where is that second Guurahk back I could swear I had two gah if I have to cancel this because I'm missing one measly part I will be majorly gakking angry I hope I can make a foot that will let it balance this gun die aeroplanes

I made a gunmetal and light blue MOC. It looks pretty good, except it's an Inika torso. =/ And the mask is a little too big. I could only use Taka '08's Avohkii, or a gunmetal Vezon Ignika from Maxillos and Spinax. They both look a little weird.
-
take that filthy aeroplanes this is the only pic you're getting for a week or two, my dad's taking the camera with him to Korea. (also check out the filename, it might help you understand the moc) (except that it won't) (I blame neuro for this incorrigible mental repetition)

ATTN: Everybody crediting Dande-what's-his-face for that Mata Nui head design. Randos did it first and did it far better. Don't credit someone who isn't at all deserving of it.
-
Today's find comes from B-Shelf member pate-possu, and it's a VERY good rendition of robot Mata Nui. It's a System MOC, but it's worth a mention.

so this has been gathering dust for weeks since I'm not wasting any more money on Lego parts. >< on to something less "normal humanoid" now was debating geth of some sort but humanoid-ness..... also contest theme seems... idk, either the rules are too strict or they aren't strict enough, something's off about it.
-
Would you consider gunmetal an underused color or a discontinued color? I don't think we've seen it since Taka '08. Even then, it was more grey than gunmetal. *shrugs*

The Zipper wins this one, with his "Henchman", a mass-production droid. Zip never fails to amaze me; he's always finding innovative ways to use pieces.

My God, gunmetal is so hard to work with. I've been thinking of ways to use it all day, but nothing original is coming out of it. I was thinking gunmetal and orange, but that can't really be done due to part limitations. Gunmetal and white might work, but that's not terribly original either. Gunmetal and black is unoriginal. Gunmetal and blue won't look so good. Gunmetal and red... maybe. Gunmetal and keetorange... unoriginal, given the fact that it was used Hewkii Inika. Anybody have examples and/or suggestions?

So, I made another creation to go with the turquoise guy and the sand blue guy: a purple and dark blue guy! I'm also making a Turaga using burnt orange and tan. Together, they will NOW form- THE DISCONTINUED COLOR ELITE BASED SPECIAL OPS TEAM SQUADRON KITTEH FORCE!
-
The final poll has been put up for the Kyry contest! PLEASE vote for me, entry 5
-
The topic is up! Go check it out, what are you waiting for?

I made a sand blue and white Metru-based MOC. I think that Imma post the teal and white one and the sand blue and white one together and they will be called: THE WHITE AND DISCONTINUED COLOR ELITE SPECIAL OPS TEAM SQUADRON TEAM KITTEH FORCE!

I'm making a yellow elephant in MOC form. Yup. I was just playing around with pieces, and I made a good head. I added a trunk, and it looked fine. I also made a torso for it. The limbs aren't coming along as well, but it'll work. I'm also nearly finished with a teal and white MOC. Expect that sometime soon.

Picture this, a zero gravity track, with a car that runs inside of it. A vertical ring, lined with magnets. Can it be done? Well, after the whole mag rail thing actually worked, I think it just may be possible, expensive of course but possible. I have enough magnets, power functions parts and other things needed. Now its just a matter of time and money. I might have to order gear plates, I do not think tires will have enough pull when the vehicle is upside down. Weight is also a concern, as always. Wind up motor might be a better choice but, it would be oh so awesome if I could make it RC. Also, I abondoned the motorized/wall-less mag rail project, after several attempts, I have deemed it impossible with lego magnets.

After several months of voting, contest extentions, server downtime and etc, we have our winners! In first place, and winning a Chrome Hau is Primus! Veq? will take second place and will have his choice of a Tarduk, Raanu, or Coast Guard Kayak set! Congrats to our winners and thanks to all that entered, yea all 4 of you! Winners expect a PM from me soon so I can get your prizes out to you. Look for my next contest in the near future once prizes have been received. Perhaps I should make the next contest theme basic and simple, we really need more entries next time!

Well, the voting ended in a tie between Primus and Veq, each with 6 votes, Ballom got 5 and Christo got 1, so there must be a tiebreaker now to decide the winner and actual prizes!
