^Flickr Gallery^ Desmodus rotundus, the Common Vampire Bat. Its diet of blood has been the inspiration for several mythical monsters and ghost stories, including the modern Vampire, the Chupacabra, and the Mayan Peuchen. What better creature of the night to build for BBCC #71: The Witching Hour? Entry Picture Wings Side View My main goals with this entry were first, to build an anatomically correct vampire bat using Bionicle parts and to build a set of wings for said bat that fold realistically. And I think I'm happy with how both goals turned out. Feel free to comment, critique, and enjoy (and hopefully vote)!

http://mate397.deviantart.com/art/Okoto-Mountain-Bat-538734937 *Before the Ancient City was abandoned some of the citizens had various pets, one of which was a species of bats which was loyal and obedient to it's owner. After the Ancient City was left empty the pet bats and other pets scattered across the island of Okoto evolving according to their new environment. Most of the bats settled in the higher caves of the mountains, and to match the terrain their colors altered for a more fitting camouflage.* This little was originally inspired by a character from one of the Transformers RID episodes, called NightStrike. But I also wanted to make a smaller MOC so I kept the size roughly around the same as the Silverbeak Buzzard. I tried my best to give the creation accurate batwings as much as possible, and I think it came out nicely, it's not perfect true, but it works just fine. Wow, it's been a long time since I've MoC'd anything. This guy is part bat and part mosquito. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out, even though I've already seen entries way better than mine. I think my favorite part is the wings, I'm proud of how bat-like I actually got them to look. Flickr | Brickshelf Bruce Pyre is a 3.0 model Hero designed to have the appearance and abilities of a bat. His wings allow him to silently glide while his sonar detectors pick up enemy locations. His wing-mounted cannons emit sonic blasts. Despite his abilities, he is a very poor flying and often tears his wings, and his sonic cannons really hurt his ears too (who designed these things!?).----This moc was actually inspired by a dream. I had dreamed of an exclusive Hero Factory set featuring a bat-like hero. I was kinda bummed when I realized it was just a dream, so I was like hey, I'm gonna moc that. And then this happened. It's nothing special, just a quick moc to get an idea out of my head.Coca Cola and Cookies appreciated.
