My Dad: It's simple, see, here it says 9+6, so you add and get eleven. Me: Nine plus six is not eleven. It's fifteen. My Dad: Oh, right. My Dad: Define "fortitude." Me: Six times nine in base thirteen? My Dad: How are you doing in English? Me: Great. Is a prokaryote the cell without a nucleus or with one? My Dad: What the the two main reasons wars are fought? Me: Some people like to attack; some people like to defend. My Dad: Is that what you read in the book? Me: No, that's just how war is. My Dad: No, if it says to write the numeral, don't spell out the word. Me: It's standard writing procedure in English to spell out any number lower than 100. My Dad: So the curriculum has flawed grammar? Me: Yep. My Dad: So why are we making a square meter on the floor with masking tape? Me: It's so I can walk around erratically in the square and apparently learn something about molecular motion. My Dad: Well, at least you can clean the floor that way. Me: Now that I've wasted ten minutes of school wandering around in a square, I need a balloon, some magnets, a chunk of wood, and a nuclear reactor. My Dad: Kay, we'll get the materials some other day. Quotes may not be exactly word-for-word.

It's Sneak A Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor's Porch Day. Go celebrate it.

Finally got to watch The Big Bang. I. LOVED IT. And Steven Moffat just had to leave two of the four big mysteries of this series unanswered. (Not sure whether to love or hate that, though.) At least the Doctor actually brought those questions up, instead of making the viewers go, "Wait, what the heck was this and that all about?" (Even with the month-long delay, I still got to watch it before you, Gornt Angel Bob. )

There's a new fad in my neighborhood. People are adding lawn decorations to their front yards. But not just any decorations. They're statues. OF ANGELS.

This makes me so proud.

Every once in a while, I'll look down at my hands and find them holding something I don't remember picking up. This worries me since I'm afraid I might find myself holding a bloody knife or something.

THE WAIT IS KILLING ME >_< Shame I won't be able to see part two for a whole month, too. :/

Once, there was a lone Matoran who lived in the middle of a vast desert. His only source of water was a tiny creek which passed by his hut. Every day he prayed to Mata Nui to send him more water, but it never came. Day after day he struggled with his life, trying to conserve as much water as possible. One day, he woke up to a terrible noise. The Great Cataclysm had struck. Earthquakes and thunderstorms ravaged the whole of the universe. As he looked to the horizon, all he could could do was gape in horror at the hundred-bio-high wall of water crashing his way. "Oh Mata Nui," he prayed in the few seconds before he drowned. "Send me less water." (I'm sure you get the message here. )

IT'S JUNE ALREADY

Even tough it took me forever, I beat the Windows Vista slide-puzzle Gadget in only 5 seconds. If you pester me enough I'll tell the secret, but anyways, I'm really proud of it. EDIT: Also I just learned that Ice Warrior is a post rank. The only thing more awesome than that would be if Weeping Angel were a rank too. B)

A huge dove with its chest ripped open. And she brought it behind the sofa and was played with it until we found out. I chucked it back out, of course. She's happily shredding it to bits. Nope, not taking pics. Don't even ask for any.

hey guys you know how the master from doctor who has this four-beat rhythm obsession right and you know how it was only introduced in the new series right well go watch the eighth doctor's movie in the scene where the master goes to the hospital to look for the doctor and he's talking through the window to the nurse and for no apparent reason HE TAPS ON THE GLASS FOUR TIMES

On a related note, if Jedi use blue and green lightsabers, why do none combine the two and use teal ones?

The title describes my current state of existence. We had a lady from church come over with her three children. One sixteen-year-old girl, one twelve-year-old girl and one eight-year-old boy. The two girls stayed in the same spot all afternoon talking girly stuff while the MEN had a party. That left me completely exhausted, but it was fun.

Basically, I spaced out and forgot to pack my suitcase so we could move back into the house. And that's why I was grounded. Also, came back from that youth retreat. The days were fun. The nights... let's just say that when I'm in a sleeping bag (I am so happy I didn't have to sleep in that "luxury comforter" again) on the floor at 1:00 AM, I probably don't want to be used as a wrestling mat?

Finally... someone correctly answered my profile riddle! YES!

BREAKFAST: half a large pizza LUNCH: two Big Macs w/ Coke/Diet Coke mixture and fries SNACKS: several chocolate chip cookies DINNER: half a large pizza EATING THESE THINGS ALL THE TIME AND NOT GETTING FAT (OR BULIMIC): priceless There are some things "health food" can't provide. For everything else, there's Teenager's Metabolism.
