That didn't go over too well. After startup, I began mining with little success. After about 30 minutes in, I found 8 diamond. Later, I found a bunch of armor. I was planning on taking a trip to the Nether, so I crafted a portal and stepped in. Upon arrival, I got quite the scare. Unit spawned the exact same time I stepped out, and had a diamond sword equipped. Thankfully, he wasn't interested in a fight. So the two of us went to the fortress, fought some Blazes, and heard a Ghast shooting at someone. While we were exploring, we came upon some stray lava. Intent on passing, Unit placed a block of cobble in the lava, but I was standing to close... And it flowed right onto me. Oh well, I had fun anyways. Let me know who wins. And thanks for setting this up, Mat!

8 CDs, Wolf's Rain (the manga) Volumes one and two, Attack on Titan (the manga) Volume one, Star Wars Battlefront, Republic Commando, wolf calender, wolf fleece blanket, CD/DVD drive that I've been needing forever (my first ever SATA drive too!), money, Tardis ornament my little sister made, and something I think I'm forgetting. Merry Christmas. :3

When all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads. And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer. With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St Nick. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name! "Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen! To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!" As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky. So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too. And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my head, and was turning around, Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack. His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow. The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath. He had a broad face and a little round belly, That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly! He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself! A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread. He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings, then turned with a ###### (lol). And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose! He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!" Christmas loot will be posted tomorrow, assuming we're not robbed or anything. Merry Christmas!

Well, tonight was interesting. After messing around with servers and everything for an hour, we finally got setup on one. About 15ish minutes in I got knocked into lava by some silverfish. :\ Even as we speak, my comrades are moving in to avenge me!

Despite the issues we were having with the Nail PVP, I still enjoyed it. But I also enjoyed the Hunger Games/whatever it was called also. And once again, thanks to Mat for setting all this up and Burn for hosting. ^^

That was something. XXaron and I had a few opportunities to jump some people, but held off and instead made a trip to the Nether and built an inconspicuous cobble fort. Unfortunately I met my end at the hands of Scanty when I tried to get him. It was all worth it though to see that hilarious ending. As always, thanks Mat for setting these up and thanks Nara for hosting.

So, tonight I'm gonna talk about metal bands or something. I don't understand how bands like Crown the Empire, Memphis May Fire, Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris, etc, got so popular. Or rather, why those specific ones became popular. I mean, they literally sound like everything else. Just check out the intro to "Memories of a Broken Heart" or the riffs in "Voices" by Crown the Empire (though I don't recommend listening to the full songs, you do that at your own peril ). Compare those to any other song from another band, let's say "Solid Ground" by For All Eternity or "Fallen" by I Am King, both lesser-known bands. Notice anything different? No? Didn't think so! What I'm wondering is since they all sound the same, except every now and then the vocalists sound a little different, why do some get more popular than others? Is it the record label? While we're on the subject of generic stuff, I don't really mind listening to it as long as they're not a super popular or well-known band. I just think it's kind of ridiculous how people adore certain bands when they're really no better than any of the other ones. Like, there's no point in saying "X is better than Y!" because in reality, X sounds almost exactly like Y. Anyways, I'm out now. *ends night with Powershifter by Fear Factory*

I really hope it starts cooling off soon. Last night it was around 74 degrees, and today was about the same. It's not like we live in the desert, there's no reason for it to be this hot.

I can't be the only one who gets bother by when someone messages you something like "Hey", like they're interested in talking but then only reply with "yeah" "no" or something along those lines. It really irritates me.

Uploading to maj takes forever when you've got a 20 KB/s upload speed. Oh well, I'm sure it will all be worth it!

I hate having trouble sleeping, especially when I have to get up early the next day..

Was having some trouble with my internet, but I think I've got it fixed now. Also next entry marks 2000 (again)!

I'm not a Dolphins fan by any means, but I really hope they beat the Bucks. I think it'd be funny for them to remain winless.

Wish I had some extra money to spare, I'd love to pick up these two sweet babies.

Whoops, forgot about this. Anyway, Impending Doom just released a new album about 40 minutes ago. I heard it a few days ago, thanks to leaks. I think it was better than their last one, but it seems like they borrowed a few things from Whitechapel.

Don't forget to set your clocks an hour back!

700? Wowza. Too bad we had to revert the forums to a backup from August, so I can't have my 2000+ entries to go with it. :< Also it's waaay too hot for November.

I only got a 3 Musketeers bar this year. :c Candy is too expensive. I mean, at $9 for a bag it'd be cheaper to give steaks away. On the plus side, I did get one of those FiM dog tags.

Interesting. Figured the site would come back up around Halloween.

Tonight has been interesting. While on her way home, my sister found a German Shepherd walking on the side of the road. I'm betting it belongs to our airhead neighbors. They've got a reputation for underfeeding their animals, among other things. But anyways, we're taking it to a GShep rescue tomorrow morning.
