10-7-2010 0035 Indeed, whilst writing about the meaning of human lives for my intro to philosophy class, I was faced with a simple but ineffable fact: what was the meaning? I puzzled over this inscrutable mystery for all of five minutes, before leaving it to master Taylor to solve it by himself as I moved on to more important matters. A mid-mid-mid life crisis. Indeed, what have I done? 'Twixt studying for science-y lectures one minute and puzzling over Lamb's Collectivist ideologies and Ryan's Objectivism the next, I had an epiphany: nothing. That epiphany was followed by an actually useful inspiration. I will do what no man has ever done before. I will plunge into the depths of madness, walk the thin line... gaze into the abyss' smoldering eyes... And come back. I will seek out the origin of memes. And then, what then...? Will I slay the beast? Will I return, a humbled sage, wiser for the Hero's Ordeal? Who knows. Until then, what shall I pack? Here is all I have so far.
