I finally got my hands on a game that seemed to be out of stock pretty much everywhere in town, so It's review time. The Graphics Does this game look good? Well, I really like the graphics a lot, but like advanced wars, it suffers from GBA level graphics, there are minor things that seem better then GBA, but it seems to fall down on this aspect. The gameplay Does this game play like it looks? This. game. Is. amazing! If you've ever played the game moria, you'll know the basic aspects of this game, and at the same time, it has so many extra twists to the system, if you've ever played a Pokemon game, you'll be familiar with the four attack Power point system, the combination of the two plays flawlessly. The Story Is this remotely interesting? Well, this is the most interesting story I've ever seen in a Pokemon game, I won't give to much away, but it involves a human getting turned into a Pokemon, a curse, and a string of natural disasters, it is a refreshing difference from the "I wanna be a Pokemon master, OEZ NOEZ! *Insert evil team here" IS CAUSING HAVOC!" Overall Graphics: 6/8 Gameplay: 7/8 Story: 6/8 Total 6.5/8

Well, after completing it, I can honestly say, it's time to review The graphics Does this game live up to DS standards? Well, although the graphics look flawless, they are, For the most part, GBA level, although certain things (COs explosions, menus...) Are DS level, it still is for the most part, GBA style. The Game-Play Is it like pulling teeth, or eating candy? Well advanced wars is executed perfectly, however you have to be committed to beat the game, you may just quit and pick it 3 months later, guilty as charged, Hahahaha. Still, the game is challenging but well worth it. The controls How natural does it feel? Well everything, from moving units, to skipping dialogue is stylus controlled, but you also have the option to not use the stylus at all. The extras What else can this game do? Well there are many other modes, most of which are simply battles with special conditions, however, a great new addition to the "Advanced Wars" family, is "Combat" mode in which you directly control your units using the control pad, although this mode is short, it is still enjoyable, especially trying to win "Combat" mode with the three unlockable CO's. There is also a map and CO customizer, the map customizer is much less daunting to less experienced map makers now that you can use the stylus to draw maps, the only thing I'd add is the ability to add "Mega missile silos" and "Volcanoes to the map". The CO customization, although limited is pretty flawless, you can basically recolor your CO in nine different ways, these 9 ways are preset, thus you can only choose nine different things, however, after meeting a certain requirement in the game, COs will be able to get a total makeover and be in a different costume, which isn't just a recolor, this separate costume can also be recolored. Overall Graphics: 6/8 Game-play: 7/8 Controls: 7/8 Extras: 7/8 Total: 7/8: lots o fun. Dekar: why the heck are you reviewing random Games?

I think I can finally say what the worst DS game ever created is: The graphics Does this game live up to DS standards? Well, this is one of very few parts of the game that is actually decent; it's whimsical and really does make you feel like you’re inside of a book. But even the graphics are sub-par in some parts of the game, such as the swinging boss, when he changes his angle, he looks strange. The Game-play Is it like pulling teeth, or eating candy? Although in the earlier parts of the game, the game play is fairly solid and fun to play, it get's tedious fairly early and with the introduction of arrows, the game play becomes nearly impossible, franticly trying to draw arrows before time runs out. The Controls How natural does it feel This is the most frustrating control scheme I've ever dealt with, arrows especially, even when you draw a perfect arrow, it doesn't acknowledge and doesn't take off, whereas drawing an arrow that looks more like a torpedo works perfectly. Pac-mans is a tad bit strange as well sometimes moving sideways instead of forward, I've even drawn a stick figure that acted like a Pac-man. Overall Graphics: 4/8 Game play: 2/8 Controls: 2/8 OVERALL: 3/8: poor
