I just thought I'd give you this little warning. Some time ago, I was shopping at Kmart with my dad and I wandered off to the electronics section. As I was browsing the Nintendo DS Lite accessories, I noticed something that caught my eye. It was a kit that came with a screen protector, a cloth, 2 game protectors, and 3 styli(?). It had the official Nintendo seal.... LIES! This was NOT something created by Nintendo, it even said it was a great (yeah right) product from BD&A Gamer and told me to visit the website. Anyway, back to the story. I started to put on the screen protectors, my dad helping me. IIRC, there were no instructions. It was difficult putting on the S.P. too. As I started to play my game, the controls were glitchy. As I soon found out, the touch screen S.P. was so thick, it was pressing down on the screen! Not only that, but the game protectors/holders were rubber (attracting hair and stuff) and didn't even cover the whole game! On top of all that, the styli were scratchy! IMO, that was a just a piece of garbage to waste money on. Never buy from BD&A Gamer!

I know, another DS entry. But this is truly awesome. This is the new installment in the DS series, the DSi! This is also more than just look and feel improvements (I'm talkin' to you, DS Lite!), this DS is actually way more practical! One of its main new features, the DSi has two cameras, one on the inside and one on the out, and it has a built in web browser! It also larger screens, you can take pictures on it (and send it to your Wii), play music, and there is even a thing called the DSi Shop, which shares the same points on your Wii Shop! And with it you can buy applications for it. But with all there is good, there is bad. The GBA slot was removed (but chances are you have something to play GBA games), the cameras are only .3 megapixels... And, it will be released in summer 2009, just because NOA is in no hurry to carry it over here since the DS Lite is selling so good. But oh well. The Japanese import is not DS game region-locked, but software region-locked. I'm so excited for it, and I really can't wait! But, lol, who cares about my opinion? XD Some specs: -has an SD card slot -has parental controls -the DSi won't allow flashcarts or hacks -power switch is now a button in bottom left area That's all I have for you. Just had to let out that burst of energy. Phew..

Hooray! For everyone living in North Anerica, Kirby Super Star Ultra comes out tomorrow! For some this might not be a big deal, but I'm a big Kirby fan. I've even done extra school today so I can play Kirby all day tomorrow (I'm homeschooled so I can be flexible like that)! For some that don't know, this game is a remake of Kirby Super Star, quite an old game, with better graphics, more games to play, and other stuff I don't know about yet. SUPER TUFF PINK PUFF

Another late entry... I had a lot of math to do today, and it wasn't pretty. Sprites Currently I have no Bionicle sprites for my RPG. Not a problem... yet. Soon I will have to get sprites, but currently I use RTP sprites, and if I'm gonna have as much chracters as I think, I won't have enough RTPs to do it. I also don't know if I'm going to make my own, or use a kit. If anyone could help, I would be really appreciative! If I had sprites, then I could put more screenshots. My brother also is a good spriter, so I might need to use his help. Let's just hope I get those sprites soon...

Finally, the blog entry has come! Although no one cares though, except my friends, and no one reads my blog, except my friends! Programming The RPG programming is tough, especially if I'm making this drop in/drop out multiplayer. That means I have to program AI. Ouch. And, so both players can fight, a custom battle system. Double ouch! Making cutscenes are easy, except the dialogue. I'm not good at that, so some lines might sound corny. After messing with RPG Maker 2000/2003, I learned a lot. But I'm still 10, I can't do everything you can think of... In which some cases, my brother can help me, who is much older than me and knows RPG Maker too. You can do a lot with programming. And some cool things I might do that I didn't mention, that will be difficult with programming. - Elemental powers - Mask powers - Custom... everything? Yeah... Custom menu, battle system, sprites of course. Among others... I would provide screenshots, yet I have no Bionicle sprites. But I will soon. *insert conclusion here*

I haven't updated my blog in a long time, and I haven't written about my RPG. These are my recent excuses: First, I was on vacation for 5 days. Then, I come home to a hamster on the loose. A few days later, I find him. Then, my brother went to his friend's house and we played together over Wi-Fi a bit. The next day, my brother's friend came to our house. Then, it's Monday. No time to work, really. I will try to do more work over the weeks, and stuff.

Yeah, it's Monday. And I don't have a name for my RPG yet. My brother's epic is called In the Dying Breath, but I don't want to name it that because that place... Um.. I've said too much. We thought of several ideas, a lot of them strange. Like, The Wonder Toa Save the Ayomeii, Sihnozu Teaches Typing, Chuckles the Clown's Big Day... You get the point. I still don't have a name, though. Anyway, there's nothing much to say yet, because there hasn't really been much anything exciting, and all I can really say is some of the features: -Multiplayer (2)/Catepillar system -Jumping (Who doesn't say, "Ah, why can't I jump over or climb over that stupid rock?!" right?) -Minigames are a must -Lots and lots of characters (not really a feature, though) -Being able to tell how much percent you are from 100%ing the game Probably some more. And, this RPG will take forever if I do this, but I might do a Matoran Customizer, where you can choose the color, mask, element, etc. of the Matoran, and name it. Maybe. Probably in the prequel, though. ... That's all.

Through my slacking, I've managed to have to make this decision. Since a long time ago, my brother and I have decided to make my second RPG take place mostly on the island in my brother's third epic. Later I saw that I lost track of most of my RPG, and didn't know what half of my switches were supposed to do. So I decided to start my RPG from the beggining. If I wanted to post my second RPG (actually at this point it was my third) after my brother's third epic was done (so no new secrets would be revealed), I'd have to work very fast. So, I thought it would be much less painful if I just had my first RPG be the one about my brother's third epic. The only problem is that there is little time at all to see the island you live on – Rode Nui. That's about it. My brother will post a chapter in his epic every Monday, so I plan to make a blog entry every Monday explaining what I've been working on, what to look forward to, etc. Maybe even make part of my RPG and give it to the people I had thought up to be beta-testers. But one week is hard. I'm gonna have to push myself!

As some of you can guess, it's not easy to make an RPG without testers, or assistants. That's why I need some people, when I release my RPG, to test it before I fully release it to the public. I'm not going to ask for people, instead, PM people (presumably from my friends list) to do it. This means I will have trustworthy people to test. I might release a demo, but...

Here I am, again, explaining small pieces of my RPG. I just recieved a PM from Emzee that I can use the sprites that he used in his game, The Infestation. So thanks Emzee for those sprites! Plus, please read my other RPG entries, #1 and #2. Okay, when you progress throughout the game, you quickly find two green beings. One is a Le-Matoran, Konaru, the other is... Well, it's a secret. Anyway, the green thing wants (let's just call him ??? from now on) information for on a special mask, the Kamika, Mask of Energy. By the way, he isn't very nice about it. He hurts Konaru, only to be interrupted by Seer, who then challenges to a battle. ??? says he will have control over Seer someday. So you're thinking, "What?" Well, you will find out later. Seer decides to fight ? and wins (or not, depending on your RPG-playing skill), and ??? leaves. Konaru is grateful and joins your party, and you go to Turaga Melu in Le-Rode to deliver the letter that Onan gave you in Ko-Rode. Konaru: Eventually becomes a smart aleck, making sarcastic and rude comments, and just being plain annoying. Seer, however, tends to like him, and Konaru, beginning to befriend him, starts becoming more sarcastic. He also is in a love square with Beka (a later-in-the game partner, Ga-Matoran), him, Seer, and Pleko (another partner later in the game). Screenshots: Timed Escape A screenshot of Seer in Onu-Rode on the way to Le-Rode Le-Rode A screenshot of Konaru in Le-Rode next to a random house. Above him is his house. Thank you for reading the 3rd introduction.

Well, it's been a while, but here is Part II. I will be mainly focusing on one character, and the people who helped me make the game (it's still not done, though). This takes place in Ko-Rode. Also, make sure to read Part I. Seer: NOTICE: His name sounds like 'see' + 'ear'. But said quick. Not like the word 'seer' ('see' + 'er'). Just wanted to get that out of the way. Personality: He yearns to be a leader, but never gets the chance. He's not the best guard, so leadership is a slight problem with him. He has the opposite personality of Lewa, so he rarely jokes, if only with his Le-Matoran friend, Konaru. (Only after being tormented early in the game by ??? (), Seer finds him.) He gets along well with other Matoran and Toa, but the Turaga (Onan, Turaga of Ko-Rode) seems to have no time to befriend Matoran. Colors: He is completely white, but his mask (Pakari) is blue. Here is a little teaser for my RPG - a view of the first map I created (not real first, just first for this RPG). Click this sentence to view. This is zoomed out a bit. Another teaser, this one for Seer's house. Click this sentence. Note: These aren't official screens and are subject to change. Ignore the events... Thank you for reading. For reading my blog, you get to see exclusive stuff from my RPG! Thanks again, and I hope you will continue to read my introductions.

This is part I of the introduction to my RPG (If you want to know, I'm using RPG Maker 2003.), The Chronicles of Rode Nui (Unfortunately, on the title screen, I put "Rode-Nui", not "Rode Nui", and I'm too lazy to change it). You start out playing as Seer, a Ko-Matoran. He lives in Ko-Rode (obviously) and he is one of the strongest Matoran in Ko-Rode. He tends to be lazy, but he can be a good leader when it comes to it. His Turaga, Onan (sounds like "Oh, man" but like this: "Oh, nan"), usually calls on him if there's trouble, or just some errand. I, Tahkeh the Chronicler, is the one telling the story of the RPG as you play along, so basically, that means he chronicled their (Yes, you get more partners, even I at one point.) story. Some of the game features: Thanks to BZPower, I learned how to easily program someone jumping. This is a very good technique. Later in the game, you can equip springs to your feet to make you jump even farther, but you can take them off to jump normally. Matoran can normally jump two spaces, Toa can jump five, and Turaga can't jump. There is a banking system, but that's after the first boss, and I still can't get it to work. Well, that's all, and you can only get this information in my blog! And expect more introductions to come your way...

Most of you don't care, but I'm creating an RPG. See my old blog entry for it. Um... It's being delayed 'till January. And Luz Cero, if you see this, I think I might give you (and some others) a beta test of my second RPG. There will be at least four. Thanks for reading.

Super Mario Galaxy & Ds Lite, And Metroid Prime Hunters
Tahkeh posted a blog entry in blogs_blog_1003
Well, my original DS' screen broke after a fatal accident, but, it was playable. Yesterday, the top screen was just a white blankness. So, since today I was getting Super Mario Galaxy, my brother and I also got a DS Lite. My color: black and red. My brother's color: white. It's a great difference in sharpness, and brightness. My brother (and me) decided to give his DS to my dad. Well, I also beat Metroid Prime Hunters today. Hooray. It's so cool. -
Yesterday and today my brother and I were trying to beat Metroid Prime 3 so, tommorow, we can play Super Mario Galaxy and won't forget about Metroid Prime 3 and never come back to it. Well, we beat it. Anyone have the game? Anyone waiting for Super Mario Galaxy? Post comments here!

Hopefully coming out around December, I'm making an RPG. It's called: The Chronicles of Rode Nui. Tahkeh is the chronicler of Rode Nui, fitting enough, so he tells the story. I need some help with sprites, because I'm not good with making sprites in MSPaint (sadly the only thing I can use) and would be greatly appreciative to whoever could help with that. If you have a solution, please PM me. Also, if someone wants to guest star, PM me for that. I need more names people! Your first character: Seer. It's not like the word, seer, but pronounced like this: sss (as in snake)-ear. That's sssss-ear. Seer. He's is a Ko-Matoran, and is a good leader, and strong. For a Matoran. PM me for me to PM you when I post my RPG. I'm almost half-way through!
