Recently I was wondering about to what extent we may use the "report" button (on posts). For example, this topic was originally in the BSC section. You will notice that I made a post saying that the correct place for it was Media. But after posting that, I wasn't sure if I should report it or not in addition to that. So to what extent do we use the report button? Is it only for things that are inappopriate or not allowed on BZP? Or would I have been correct to use it then (I didn't, by the way). Sorry if there was already an answer to this question in the Compendium. I tried to look there, but the formatting problems we are having on BZP made it kinda...unusable. And I couldn't find anything specifically talking about this question in the Rules and Guidelines section either. Thanks in advance- Kopekemaster

I know but it's late and I didn't feel like I had the capacity to do a writeup of a real news item I picked that bit solely so I could make that joke also I'm not going to have time to report tomorrow because I'm leaving for Brickcon no I don';t actually think I'm that clever that the rest of BZPower needs to share my mirth even though my last couple of stories have ended in a lousy pun. It just seemed to fit at the time. I'm actually a lot more professional that I act but I guess that sorta negates the entire point then, doesn';t it

Apparently the quality of my reporting is directly correlated to how many hours of work I put in, added to the amount of sleep I missed and how many hours of class I have, and how much homework they've assigned us versus how much I have done. Because I swear that article wasn't there when I posted mine and I read every article posted before I do my reports. I guess that was just an additional reminder then, because it's super important. also yes I ended up taking a nap right after I posted that I'll be more careful in the future

I've recently reported a number of things (new Lego store in the Milwaukee area, etc), that I would normally expect would get posted. After none of them appeared on the front page, I checked the emails and noticed that in some I didn't end with my username. Do the staff have a system that pairs Members with their emails, or do I need to include my name in the email?
