Meiko
Since it doesn't seem BZPower's gonna put it on the front page, I figured I ought to point out that after worries about park safety and security, LEGOLAND Windsor will be closed this weekend, as Brickipedia reports. The abrupt closing of the park was after LEGOLAND Windsor had to cancel a Muslim Fun Day by the MRDF due to the controversy around it. After the cancellation, far-right groups threatened the park, which led LEGOLAND Windsor to close it's park due to security and safety concerns. Brickipedia's news report (linked above) has more details. Lyichir
One of those rare instances where Lego news and politics overlap in the worst way possible. It's horrible that any group would make any sort of threat against an institution as innocent as Legoland, especially one motivated by racial or religious bigotry. 1 Quote Formerly Lyichir: Rachira of Influence Aanchir's and Meiko's brother
Toa Kayn
It's really sad that a place that I've been to and had so much fun when I was slightly younger is having such problems. Unnecessary tension. Artifox
Their behavior is distasteful. LEGOLAND (and LEGO in general) is supposed to be a place for creativity and open mindedness.
