NickonAquaMagna Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 It's come to my attention that a lot of people don't really care for Stormer's Freeze Machine (I kinda like it, but I see where they're coming from). Well, I hope this is more to your liking, since it's a more extensive revamp than previous ones. Here's a video going in depth about it. Build type- BullfrogWeight Class- Frontliner A closer look at the thing. Stormer looks pretty comfortable up there. Standby mode Ready for battle! Some shots of how this puppy is built I really love the shape of this mech. It really does look like a big metal frog. That huge plate on the top just completes the whole thing. Each claw is articulated. This freeze ray went through more revisions than the rest of the mech together. Onward! Being a frontliner, it's heavier than Furno's support class mech, but lighter and more mobile than Evo's redeemer class mech. Obligatory comparison shot Kinda puts everything in perspective, huh? It almost has a crab-like feeling to it, I just love the use of the large torso shield and the white hero factory fist, you really gave those pieces a new and interesting purpose, very creative. The 1st Shadow Posted October 4, 2014 Share Posted October 4, 2014 They load just fine, though for me it does take a moment or two. Anyway, it does look interesting! I feel like the armor covering in some areas could have been a bet better (mainly the legs), but overall, it looks really innovative and sturdy. Can you take a picture of the back with all the armor removed? I've been having trouble with a figure that supposed to appear in my comics, but I can't find a decent way to make the legs hold up. I figure I might be able to get some ideas from your design. It's not that complex, really... the rear is just a "long" torso piece used for larger figures, with the legs stemming completely from that.
