danny316p
I'm curious if anyone else has gotten hooked on the Merlok 2.0 game for Nexo Knights. It became my latest vice after I found several "exclusive" Nexo Powers at LEGOLAND Florida. I've since made the weekly leaderboards, hit level 88, and collected 104 of the 177 Nexo powers. I can't tell if that's impressive, or if I'm just the only non-child playing the game. I'd be interested in talking strategy if we have other players here. This might also be a possibility for a convention activity next year - I'd like to gauge interest on whether people would want to trade powers at events, or if we think there would be interest in setting up powers to be scanned at BioniLUG events. Or am I the only one getting into this?
Smitty
You want Nexo powers? http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/ Quote At some point you realize that you are but a speck in the Universe. danny316p
Yep, I've grabbed most of the harder-to-find ones from there. There are other sites that have powers online, but Spyrius.org is the best I've found. I have to wonder if the kids playing it have figured that out too... My only issue with them is that they don't actually list where those powers were originally sourced from (important if for whatever reason you want to limit which powers you scan based on their availability). For that, this Twitter account is one of the best resources I've found. Smitty
So over the last two weekends I managed to scan all 200+ powers from http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/ They all worked for me too. I think I may have made the game too easy will all the level five powers I have but I am enjoying it. I also found a power mixer on their site. http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/power-mixer.html?np=tech-tree so have fun with that. Quote At some point you realize that you are but a speck in the Universe. Smitty
I just noticed that if you tap on a nexo power that you don't have it'll tell you where it can be found. ChocolateFrogs
That Twitter account is pretty cool, though I'm still left wondering where the Classic Space Shield came from. Scannable shield display? LEGO Store trading card? -CF(I haven't played the game, but I wonder: If you scan a shield once, do you always have it as an option from then on?) You can also upgrade powers by scanning them multiple times (though you have to wait in between scans of the same power). danny316p
Re-scanning powers is silly - you can also master powers by using them in the game more often. Re-scanning uses up your ability to scan more quickly than scanning new powers does. You're better off trying to scan as many powers as possible, and then rotating in powers during gameplay to upgrade them. The random shield packs seem to mix in a few powers that previously only existed as "exclusives" in various locations last year. I'm about 90% sure off the top of my head that Pinball Magician was a LEGOLAND exclusive, and that it now has a tile in the blind bags. It also happens to be a fairly strong power with a memorable animation (and a veiled reference to The Who).
Smitty
Re-scanning uses up your ability to scan more quickly than scanning new powers does. I have unlimited scanning? Also http://www.spyrius.org/nexo/ has the level five QR coad you can scan. Quote At some point you realize that you are but a speck in the Universe. That you time in this worlds is but a blink.
