I haven't played Half-life 1,2, or any episode. However, I know a lot about it thanks to the internet, TV, and Freeman's Mind.Here's to hoping Valve releases Episode 3.*the previous comment has delayed Episode 3 for 400 years*

I played up until the alien world (Xen?) on HL1, I have almost gotten 100% achievements on HL2, and completed Ep.1 and Ep. 2.I want Ep. 3. D':

No, they were a competitor of Black mesa, but the Black Mesa incident was entirely BM's own doing.~ELM~

Yeah, I thought it was sort of like a race to make portal technology, and a rush resulted in the incident?Maybe I'm just making this up... I think they boosted something and the crystal (that G-Man gave them?) was unstable...Buuuuuut IDK.

Nah, i'm pretty sure it wasn't portal-related, I think they were just doing tests on the crystal.~ELM~

So I finished Episode one yesterday and started on Episode two.That last Strider battle in Episode one was pretty intense.And also, that part where you have to defend the base from Antlions is definitely my favorite part in the entire series. And that line "They don't bother us unless we step on their grubs" totally evoked an "Oh, my bad. . . . . . . . ." feeling XD .And the music during the defense and the music at the beginning of the Hospital in Episode one are AWESOME.~ELM~
