Phovos
Tahnok-Kal and Turahk, Phovos Style!"Turahk, are you okay?" Tahnok-Kal rushed over as Turahk rolled along the ground, his body spasming before slowly coming to a rest. The little Bohrok cautiously approached the Rahkshi's body. Something was happening. Turahk was changing. The Rahkshi grew in front of Tahnok's eyes. He grew, from a Rahkshi into a Makuta."This cannot be happening..." the Bohrok muttered under it's non-existent breath. "This cannot...""But it hasss happened..." Turahk struggled to his feet, tired but triumphant. "I am a Makuta now. But..." His voice faded. There was a pain in his chest. "Thisss power isss too much for me...""Remove some of it then." Tahnok replied bluntly. "Before it consumes you.""No.""No?"Turahk growled, a smile growing across his face. "No. I am going to ssshare thisss with you..."Tahnok edged backwards, unsure what to do. But before he could move, Turahk's new powers grabbed him."What have you done?" Tahnok panted as he realised he wasn't really a Bohrok any more......Tahnok and Turahk, side by side. So, I've gone and revamped my two favourite characters. Turahk's now a heavily built, Makuta-like being. Tahnok's turned into some sort of scary cross between a dinosaur, an insect and a kangaroo.Turahk first. I've built and rebuilt Turahk before, in this style. It's quite easy keeping the Rahkshi shape with the Metru body but spines were always a problem. So, instead of custom ones, I just found a way to attach Turahk's head part onto a Toa Metru body, instead of making a whole new body shape. I don't know why he has fists on his legs. The legs are a left over from my old Kopaka Hordika model.Pose! - Side view - Rear view - Pose again! Now for Tahnok. Tahnok was a lot of fun to build. I's always a challenge making a smallish Bohrok-Kal head witha working jaw using the Bohrok head shield but I managed it this time, in a very piece-consuming way. I could have used a more simple method but then the neck would have been too small. I was unsure what to do for the tail (and Veekay was hogging all the red HF pieces) so I left it simple. Originally, I was going to just use the normal shield+hand piece for the hands but those claws are smexy.Front - Side view - Pose!"Gimme a kiss, Tahnok!" "Not in a million years, Turahk."View the gallery here! And here's a bonus picture. From left to right, Tahnok-Kal, Arkay the Threavok, Eric the Ethravok, Vahrga Tahnok. Dual Cee
I like the mouth and the avohkii armor of Turakh but the bohrok is a bit weird maybe you can make him more bohrok style and less toa with bohrok style head. Phovos
Well, he's not really supposed to be Bohrok-y. The problem I find with Bohrok is that if you want to remix them, you normally end up with a round, bulky thing with stubby arms. I wanted to avoid that and give Tahnok a slightly Makuta-y look too, but let him keep the main parts of a Bohrok (i.e. the head-shield, eyes, fangs and hand-shields) Quote Click here to read The Bohrok-Kal's Ramblings! Dual Cee
Forgot to say this thing: I really like the way how you used the kal-shields and hands at the same Quote I'm back!
