It was mainly inspired by the music from those games (particularly the Kahu-riding sequence and the Mangaia music) as well as by Tim Hecker and Daniel Lopatin's recent collaborative album Instrumental Tourist. And you succeeded at what you wanted in that final few seconds. There was this one note that instantly made me think of the ending of MNOG, and it was pretty awesome. Good job!
