I must say that I'm really getting frustrated because I've only had 1 person Comment on my epic The Switch Mirror And mind you this story has been up since December 6th 2010. The same applies to my first ever stop motion video The curious Stant Viper except this has only been up since February 8th and still no one has left any type of comment although there have been plenty of views of the two. It's just really frustrating.
And If you notice the people who get a lot of comments on their stuff are those who have hundreds of post under their belt, Have some staff position or have done a million different projects. I have nothing against anyone I just wish more people paid attention to the beginners as much as they do the experts.

I feel your pain. Reviews are hard to get, even for us people with thousands of posts. tongue.gif

And ftr, you're generalizing.

True, staff usually have a lot of reviews, same with popular members, for the excellent fact that they're popular, they know a lot of people, they have a lot of friends. Heck, friends are where practically all my reviews come from.

And if you want reviews for any of your art, may I direct you to the Creative Forum Revival club's review exchange? We'll gladly review any art; all we ask in return is that the person who requests the review also reviews a story/artwork of the person who reviews it. But of course, the blog entry explains that better.

Honestly, even being staff, I haven't gotten many reviews on anything I've posted. It's more a matter of persistence, if you keep posting stories, chapters, continuations, then people will eventually get curious and possibly click on the topic to view it. Over 244 people viewed a story I recently posted, but only two people commented (both being friends, and both who had time on their hands after all their own projects). So, it's not just normal members -- it extends to OBZPC's, staff, and people with thousands of posts. tongue.gif

Favorite Poem

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great,
And would suffice.
