I've only heard "MOC" said like "mock" out loud at conventions. I think that's the "proper" pronunciation based on random convention samplings.

I never knew that. It's good to know.

MOC is an initialism for me.

The more I know, indeed.

I still think of MOC in terms of initialisms, but have gotten into the bad habit of saying "Mock" at conventions...

 

Don't you dare claim, that Fibii, Hitmel, Daftbaa, and Bizip, are not acronyms.

Knowing is growing. Actually I found this very interesting, and I eagerly await opportunities to drop it into conversations to the chagrin of the other participants.

 

I've always used MOC as an acronym, because the initialism sounds like you're making fun of someone if you build their LEGO form.

"I build my Emocees on da Beezedpower."

I use MOC both ways, but it's always an acronym when I use it as a verb. Em-oh-see-ing doesn't exactly roll off the tongue
