Because they pretty much forced me to take the day off and rest up to in the hopes that whatever this cold/sore throat/stuff-uppedness/almost constant headache I don't even know anymore goes away. It's really making me miserable and overly snippety at some people, but hey, it's hard to do anything to get yourself to feeling better when the conversation with the nurse goes like this:
Nurse: Well, if you were at home, what would you do for this?
Me: Um, take cold medicine....and something for my headache? Do you have anything?
Nurse: Hmm....
Me:.....
Nurse: *does nothing despite the GIANT closet of over the counter medicines that's for campers and staff*
Me:....*finally is given Advil by another person*
She later gave me some AirBorne that someone else gave her to give to me, and I keep taking the allergy relief pills I brought, but I don't think they're really working. And! Since I feel sooooo great, my vertigo thought it would join the party. Walking on twisty uneven trails is super fun now: you never know where you're going to land!
Anyways, Panda and Yoshida are awesome. So's DV. And Lady Gaga too, because Panda and I realized that her music is oddly therapeutic and that may be one reason we've retained some of our sanity right now. I mean, you hear the Pony Song sang more than three times in one day and you just start going crazy.
P.S., you lovely people: Send me letters while I'm working at camp, please. I really really like getting mail. It makes me happy. PM me and I'll give you the address and I'll totally write you back. Thank you!
(and 19 days until BrickFair!!!!!)
