I'm bad at social things

So once a week I take the bus to my college for class. up until this point I've pretty much kept to myself. This probably doesn't surprise anyone who knows me. As it's rather obvious. But on my way to class There was a guy playing smash bros on a 3DS. I wanted to say something, maybe get a battle going. But instead I broke mine out and hoped he would notice. He did, and he proceeded to destroy me in the game, no surprise there. But it was fun.

So after that I'm wondering why I didn't just say something to begin with.

Oh. Right. Because It's freaking terrifying.

Thankfully, it seems everyone understands the *breaks out DS and makes eye contact* maneuver. I've had several Smash and Pokemon matches with strangers on the train or waiting on a line without having to say anything :P

See, and I don't even have a DS or 3DS so all I can resort to is awkward staring. :D

...okay, not really. I don't stare at people. I try to avoid that in any way possible, normally by drawing something.

But yeah, socialising is hard. (I can relate to this) :<

That's the problem I have with the cute girl who has been on all but 3 of my bus rides to and from my school. The only interaction I've had with her is her asking if she could sit next to me (The bus was full, it's not a sign) which I answered yes to because I try my best not to be a jackwagon (So far she's one of the two people who asked. Bus etiquette seems to state that if a seat is open you may take it.) and proceed to try my best to not visibly freak out for the next hour until the bus passes her stop.

So I can still sympathize.

My number #1 problem in life: I don't actually have this problem.

If I want to talk, I talk. People stare at me as if I'm a freak when I do that when I do that, and I always say the wrong thing, but that doesn't stop me from doing it anyway, again.

If I don't want to talk, which is most of the time, I don't.
