Breaking Windows and Other News

Posted by Voltex , in Life, My Little Pony Feb 18 2013 · 127 views

So I broke a window two nights ago, but nothing really happened except that we now have a window with some holes and a lot of cracks. It was actually an accident and I didn't get in trouble, so hurrah! Something actually went right for me in real life!

Because to be quite honest, 2013 sucks.

2012 was probably the greatest year of my life so far (which isn't saying much because I only remember like ten years or something if that), and it's not just that 2013 can't really measure up, but I dunno... something out there just doesn't want this year to turn out well for me. Every single thing I do seems to end up bad in some form, which isn't doing much for my procrastination troubles.

Also, I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the My Little Pony Season 3 finale, and I think there should be more musically oriented episodes.

That's all, folks.

So for how many years will you be stuck in the galleys?

As much as I loved the finale, I think musical episodes like that should be used sparingly. Both because they're not always the only way or the best way to tell a story, and because I imagine between the music, animation, writing, and acting, this episode probably took a lot of time (not to mention probably a massive budget). Trying to do that too often would overtax the cast and crew, and meanwhile it might not pay off in viewership if people begin to accept it as the norm.
