Nah, last place wouldn't have even made it into the polls.

It could also be better. And I think the only reason your story isn't doing well in the polls is because of its vagueness; otherwise, it's epic.

You're lucky you got into that, I can't believe that I didn't. Not that I had high hopes, but I just thought it would be cool if that would've happened, being my first contest and all and the fact it took me since the contest started to write the story I wrote. Hopefully I'll get an honorable mention, but it's probably not a good idea to have hopes like that after this disappointment. ._.

 

Still, I don't want to depress you with my bad luck - good luck to you, may the best man win among everybody in the last 35 minutes of the contest.

Peach 00, don't feel bad -- I know exactly how you feel. In the first short story contest I entered (the BS01 Core War SS contest), my story was disqualified in the first round of judging; at the time, I thought Conflict was pretty darn good. At least here, you have a chance of earning an honorable mention, right?

That was the first contest I entered myself, and I'm pretty sure mine was disqualified as well. lolol Anyway! Ignition won the public choice, and let me say it deserved it. The writing was superb, and I mean it flowed very well. Congratulations LL.

I guess I shouldn't, but you've got a point. And I might, we'll have to wait for the results topic to show up. But instead of complaining, I'd like to say thanks for kinda cheering me up - and, congrats in the polls You earned it.
