I love the new classic mode. I'm really hoping that it's going to be structured the same in the Wii U version. I have been disappointed with Smash Run; there's potential there, I suppose, but it feels rather tacked on and half-thought out. I'm also disappointed with the lack of an adventure mode, even if it were to be one like Melee's; since I'm more often than not going to be playing Smash 3DS by myself, I wish there were more single player options that I could invest time into.

 

That said, online has been relatively lag free for me, which is cool. I'm busying myself with completing the challenges right now, which has sort of taken precedence over unlocking new characters (although I'm trying to get those, especially the new characters, as fast as possible). 

I haven't enjoyed smash run much. I seem to do about the same regardless of the powerups I get. I'm sure there's a differance, but it's really hard to tell.

For me, the only really tangible stat change is speed.  Being able to traverse the field faster is a big deal.
