I have not been on board the Superhero craze at all lately. I even thought Guardians of the Galaxy was just okay. But I love a good antihero. And Daredevil is definitely a good antihero.

 

Action, drama, shipping, ships that actually develop at a natural pace with the story, backstories, interesting characters, vigilante justice.

 

The only thing this series doesn't have are cyan explosions shaped like cats. I'm hopeful on that front, though.

If I had Netflix I would probably check this out. But I don't, so instead I'll just sit back and watch everyone else talk about how much they enjoy it.

I was honestly not super satisfied with the way the relationships end up but it's probably my one notable criticism, it's really a very good series.

I am a superhero fanboy, and thus I am pretty biased, but I think that Daredevil stands out as excellent television, regardless of genre, and is a welcome departure from the Marvel norm.
