So, any suggestions on how I should start up a character in this game.

Investigating the giant, mechanical jellyfish in the northern barrens might be a good idea to get some interactions.

Anyway for me to easily jump into the Day Run Tournament?

Nah, not really. A lot of people don't know that there was a giant jellyfish in the last thread. XP

 

But yeah, that's easy enough. Just hvae your character stop by the Registration Office. I don't know how many other characters are there right now, but it should be easy enough to see the jellyfish from the Day Run.

Well, most of the people. The rest were insane. =P

I can't say how happy I am right now. Heck, I'm way more happy that Day Run won than BaR.

So, I have absolutely no idea what to put in the biography for my character. Are there any important events that occured in Kai Nam that he should know about, or anything else I need to know. I planning on making him a former Mechanic who worked at the Garage who after saving up and building his own motorbike is planning on joining the Day Run is their anything in particular I'll need for his backstory.

 

Apologies for the rambling and noobishness.

In terms of recent events, it's likely he would know about the Ring/KNPD war and the various Constructs that have attacked, especially the Searcher, but aside from that, there isn't anything huge. I really depends on when he came to the island, though; if it was within the last century then you might mention the Skakdi raid that destroyed South District.

 

Aside from tat, you're free to write basically whatever, and it doesn't have to be very long. *shrug*

He grew up on Kai-Nam and is now about the Bionicle equivalent of 16-19.

Then you're free to make anything up, basically, and make mention of any of the things I listed above.

 

To be frank, Kai-Nam wasn't a very eventful place between the current time and the time of the original Ring-KNPD conflict. So just write whatever. *shrug*

I see, well, I'll just make him a mechanic who grew up in the Garage and was sort of known as the little boy who ran around the place. Now he's finally going to try and enter Day Run.
