Other Titles: No Checkpoint I'm Disappointed

 

So, uh, yeah. Just reached the Lighthouse place, and, uh, I got into a battle with the Combine. Aside from them using me for target practice, I haven't been doing that bad. Aside from when I got to the lighthouse rocket fight. Whose bright idea was it to not even put a checkpoint save there? >_^ I blew myself up, naturally. =P

I'm honestly not sure if this is early or halfway into the game, to be honest. xD However, I finally got past it by just plain blitzing through the place with a shotgun. And I still died like 8 times before that. xD

Yeah, I found that out quickly. >_>; Unfortunately, I did just that. And proceeded to have an army of the stupid antlions rushing me as I valiantly ran toward the next checkpoint. xD I barely made it too, after like 100 tries. Haven't played recently, so I'll try to finish up tomorrow. =)
