3DS Stuff?

So I've got some money to spend on stuff, and I wanted to spend it on something for the 3DS. I'm interested in getting an eShop card to spend on games(particularly from the Virtual Console), but I really want to get Mario and Luigi: Dream Team. So what do you guys think I should do?

P.S. I will not get New Leaf, so please don't say "GET NEW LEAF!1111one" *sets up barricade*

P.S.S. Next entry will be a Fictional Character Face-Off, so feel free to suggest stuff matches for that.

Sonic vs. Samus. *Flees*

Get an eshop card and Dream Team? =P

Also, I'll respect that, but is it just not liking the series from the previous entries, or what? =P

I guess I could do that, but I only have 51 dollars, not enough to get both. Maybe I could convince my parents?

Because I'm not interested in the type of game New Leaf or any entry in the Animal Crossing series for that matter is. Sorry!

I've heard really good things about Fire Emblem: Awakening. Been meaning to play it, but it's good apparently.

You should get New Leaf!

Okay, I am just kidding. Its fine that you are not interest in that game.

Speaking seriously now, I would recommend maybe Fire Emblem: Awakening, if Strategy RPG are your thing. You will even get 30 dollars back in eShop credit, if you register it with Club Nintendo, so there's that. The eShop even has a demo of it, so you could try it out and see if you would like it.

If no to that idea, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon (No Demo) or Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (There is a demo for this one.) are some pretty good titles out there that you could pick up used somewhere.

Hm...I would recommend some Virtual Console stuff, but it kind of hard to well, determine what you might be interest in. That and I don't know what older generation games that you have play before.

Although then again, if you only have enough to really just get Dream Team next month, it might be best just to save that money for that. I know that's what a friend of mines is doing.

Apart from New Leaf... Fire Emblem: Awakening is good. Luigi's Mansion is good. Kid Icarus: Uprising is good. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team ought to be good.

eShop credit is cool too. Virtual Console is great for retro gaming, and the restore points make even games like Zelda II that haven't aged well more playable. Of course, there are some really good downloadable games other than Virtual Console games, like Denpa Men and Pushmo. And if you're the kind of person who Streetpasses others semi-frequently, the new downloadable games for Streetpass Mii Plaza are pretty cool.
