Congrats on beating the final boss of literature.  Now be sure to look up all of the bibliographical work done on Ulysses (e.g., the pages upon pages written about whether the telegram to Stephen Dedalus should read "Mother dying" or "Nother dying") and ask yourself, "Did I really read this book?"

In all seriousness, though, in what context/for what purpose exactly are you studying Ulysses?

I hereby award you the Medal of Valor for Reading: you have won the fight, you have beaten James Joyce.

Now, explain to us, what was all that about, again?

I see what you did there and also must congratulate you. Lastly, how was Madame Bovary, and also please don't go feel compelled to start reading Proust now.

Read it for class (a class that I love). It's one of those books I know I should read at some point, so I figured I'd read it under this professor. Made sense enough.

Magnificent book, really.

Madame Bovary grew on me, but it pales in comparison to this. What I did really like about Bovary though was how every character was terrifically complex.

And thanks for catching it, Wind!
