I've Survived

As of Monday:

Our production of A Chorus Line is finally OVER. It was fun, at least for me, since I was on tech crew and didn't have to dance and sing. (I was doing the spotlight.) But three hours of rehearsal every night gets more than a bit time-consuming, especially last week, when from Tuesday to Friday I just didn't go home until 10 because we got dinner at 5 and then rehearsal went from 6 to 10, so there was no point in leaving school. Then Friday was opening night, and we had two performances on Saturday. It was rather exhilarating, though I'm not sure why I wasn't more nervous – I only really got butterflies in my stomach before the Saturday evening show... But they all went pretty well; Friday was the worst for tech, because we had a few ... rather noticable slip-ups. (And of course Friday was the day we were being judged for tech. Not Saturday, when we did everything fine!)

And then on Sunday we struck the set (that's such a weird term for that, "strike"...) and went out for lunch. Yum. Though it was sort of sad destroying the set after all the trouble we had getting it together – or more like the amount of times we had to take it apart and then put it back together... ah well.

Secondly, THE FIRST PART OF THE YEARBOOK IS DONE. DONE. 36 pages and the cover finished, out of the way, FOREVER. Now I can delegate other people to do page design, now that the 16 color pages are done...

Seriously though. The combination of the yearbook and the musical pretty much prevented me from doing anything else last week. And now they're both OVER (well, for the moment, as to the yearbook) and I have free time again! For the first time in a MONTH!

Oh, what have I been doing since Monday? Sleeping, mostly. We're in Delaware for Thanksgiving now and I've spent most of the past three days either asleep or too tired to do anything but lie on the couch and read.

But come Sunday, I shall return! I can go back to posting news and writing stories and I can finally color a sketch or two more of Helryx (see below) that I've been wanting to. And do college applications, because I've had no time to do those this month.

Now, I'm off to go watch Noises Off! and then sleep some more.

Bizarre term indeed, that. Speaking of which:

I think, given the rest of the sentence, that's a...

Forgive my snarkiness, but anyone have comments that aren't expounding on typoes? As with anything else, it only needs to be pointed out once...

How is Yearbook Commitee for you guys? It's ridiculous for us, as there's always a huge group of kids wanting to help out when they don't know a thing about writing... or taking photos... or page layouts. >.>
And tech's fun, unless you have one of those really anal stage directors. Then it's managable. =/

...Hardly applicable, since there were only two comments. :/
