At least Other M proved that a Metroid film would be amazingly awesome.

I really find it funny that the one time Nintendo tries to go in the direction of most developers and push heavier plot and cinematic, the fans seem to hate the result, even when they usually kick and scream for such features. =P

I don't remember ever kicking and screaming for emotional Samus. All I ever wanted was Dread.

Lol same here. Plus, even if I had wanted cinematics, PTSD that was barely ever shown before and emotional Samus was not what I would've had in mind.

Also they completely ruined Adam for me. His death was so unnecessary. Like there wouldn't have been any way for when the GF arrived to just blow sector zero up by themselves. "NO ZOMG I MUST SACRAFICE MAHSELF TO KEEL DA METROIDZZZZZ"
