IC: Night Stalker The solid thunk as the staff struck Captor brought a wave a satisfaction over Night Stalker. He turned towards Gorn, who was nearing rapidly, and roared, "Come on!" as he began firing at the hero.

OOC: I never thought about it much. I was thinking that the cuffs were more of power suppressors, like Fishers said. If they drained power to the point where the villain could just walk and talk, I would think that the villain would run out of power very soon after that, just by being awake. With no new power coming to the villains and needing power for basic life-sustaining functions, applying the cuffs would probably cause them to loose power completely not long after application. OOC: Toa Onaku, Night Stalker is two words, jsyk. Also, Night Stalker is firing energy blasts as well as bullets, and is very hard to see inside a cloud of toxic gas. IC: Night Stalker As Night Stalker has no trouble seeing the dog hero, he is able keep the hero from getting behind him and to shoot rather accurately, finding it hard to miss at such close range. As Captor crouches to spring, Night Stalker raises his makeshift staff like a baseball bat and swings, hoping to connect with Captor in mid air, while simultaneously moving his gun arm out of the way of the lunge. He registers the fact that Gorn is closing, but waits for the moment, as he is still some ways away.

IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker raises his gun arm. "His chest plate is severely damaged. One good shot from this should bust through completely. If you could fade out completely or travel through the ground he wouldn't even see you coming." GM NPC VON NEBULA "I can do better," Von Nebula said, cloaking himself from view. "Get ready." He started over toward the Hero. IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker nodded and was about to go after Gorn when he paused. He picked up the handle of his hammer, then began walking towards Gorn. That's when his radar finished it's start up procedure and the display popped up in Night Stalker's helmet. He took a quick look around and swore silently when Captor came into view. He needed to get rid of it. He fired a gas bomb at the ground near his feet to hide him from sight, turned, and unleashed a barrage of energy blasts and bullets.

OOC: It's been a few minutes since the cuffs were deactivated, so he'd be fully powered up by now. I do't know how much power radar takes, but it's high on Night Stalker's priority list and he would want it up as soon as possible. I imagine it would also have to go through start up procedures and whatnot, so I'm fine with Captor being in position, but Night Stalker is going to know he's there within 10-15 seconds.

IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker gets an even better idea,and this time a malicious grin crosses his face this time. "Would it be easier for you to just possess the sword itself? If you could just turn it off right as he is about to strike I could land a devastating blow, and he'd be able to see it coming. I want that hero to pay!"

OOC: Did you actually trademark the shady bar? IC: Morphos A rogue hero? Interesting. You didn't see many of them around. It could pay to keep tabs on this one. After all, word on the street was that tourists had been calling hero factory about that giant wormhole, and if heroes wold be swinging by chances were they'd pay good money to locate one of their fallen brethren. Morphos took a seat at the bar a few seats down from them and asked for a drink.

IC: Night Stalker "Knives are no good. I'm not a robot who's good with knives." That's when Night Stalker noticed Gorn looking at him. He was about to swear when he remembered the hero's weapon. A sly grin crossed his face as he turned back to Von Nebula. "Question: would it be possible for you to possess that hero over there and give me his plasma sword? Now that's a weapon I could get behind."

IC: Night Stalker "He is? Cool." Night Stalker gave up trying to break the cuffs with strength. Instead he loaded one of his extra bullet clips into his gun, put the chain in front of the handle, and blasted it to bits. "Much better." He did the same with Fravi, then reloaded the rest of his gun. "I don't suppose you've got any weapons I could use? One of the heroes totaled my hammer."

OOC: Ooooooh ok. Yeah, that's how it works. IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker nudges Fravi with his foot. "Hey, you, wake up! We need to get out of here while they're distracted!" He keeps nudging her, more and more violently. GM NPC VON NEBULA Night Stalker and Fravi (if she was concious) would find the power draining abilities of their Hero cuffs temporarily shut off, and a creepy ghost flicker into existence in front of them. "Traferous?" it asked. "Traferous lives?" IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker felt his strength begin to return. Seeing as how whoever this was had just turned off the cuffs, he figured he ought to at least tell him what he knew. Maybe he'd get more help. "Yes, he does. If I had to guess, that fight over there is probably where he is right now." He began straining at the cuffs, but he didn't have enough power yet. He'd have to wait a little longer. OOC: Hey guys, I'm going to be gone for the weekend until around sunday afternoon. I'll probably be on once or twice more before I leave though. Edit: Double post merged. -Wind-

OOC: I don't think Captor would have heard him. The heroes are walking away from them and distracted, and Night Stalker doesn't want to broadcast his intentions to said heroes and thus would be talking too quietly for them to hear.

OOC: Ooooooh ok. Yeah, that's how it works. IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker nudges Fravi with his foot. "Hey, you, wake up! We need to get out of here while they're distracted!" He keeps nudging her, more and more violently.

OOC: Drat. Although I'm pretty sure Night Stalker's gun is not similar to a rocket launcher.

OOC: How much energy do the cuffs drain? Would Night Stalker still be able to fire his gun, assuming he could get ammo?

IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker shrugged. "Don't remember honestly. She might have been on board, I was busy at the time and didn't see much of the crew."

IC: Night Stalker That question caught him up short. How did he know? "That is a very good question. Probably because I survived I just assumed he would too."

IC: Morphos Morphos ducked the stool clipping the top of his head. He glared at the thrower, his face contorting, literally, into a much more fearsome snarl. He continued to scan the room for potential employers, keeping an eye on the robot who threw the stool in case another came his way. IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker looked over the ruins. "Yeah, it is. He's probably really ###### right now."

IC: Night Stalker The cuffs clicked around Night Stalker's wrists, draining his energy. He didn't care. He was busy, his mind racing. Here was the dilemma. What to say and what not to say? They'd probably figure out from the other heroes eventually that yes, he had been the one to attack the police station, so saying that would make him seem cooperative. Now the second question. Should he rat out Traeferous? He came to a decision. He'd tell them that he was working for Traeferous, but he wouldn't tell them what he was doing. He would feign ignorance. "Yeah, that's me. And I'm working for Traeferous."

IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker grunted as the next round of energy blasts struck him. A few made it through his armor, messing with his internal systems. He was about to shoot at the hero when Gorn attacked again, slicing the head off his hammer. Night Stalker knew he was defeated. He wouldn't make it out alive if he kept this up. He slowly backed out of the gas cloud, dropping what was left of his hammer and ejecting the almost completely depleted magazines from his gun. He allowed himself to fall to the ground, hands raised. Night Stalker's rage threatened to burst out from behind his submissive facade, but he managed to keep it in check. Night Stalker would wait. He would pass the time by planning strategies to reduce their worthless hides to scrap. One day, he would make them pay for this. He could almost see the light fading from their eyes already. Oh yes, he would wait.

OOC: I don't know what happened with that post. I'm going to edit it majorly right now

IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker Ignored the flashing low ammo indicator on his HUD. He didn't have a hand or time to spare to reload. He settled for blasting Gorn with another gas bomb, finding that his options were looking less and less appealing as the fight went on. That's when Saracen's energy blasts struck him. The blasts nearly penetrated his armor, tough as it was, so he moved to the side, hoping the gas would keep this new attacker from seeing him well enough to accurately shoot.

OOC: Gorn has been battered a lot by Night Stalker and has taken several hits from the hammer and a few point blank shots directly to the chest. I feel like he should be showing that more than he is. IC: As Night Stalker had never stopped moving towards his hammer his legs are in motion, causing only the bottom of the foot on his already damaged leg to struck. He continues to fire, accurately since they are still so close, as he snatches his hammer up from the ground before turning to face Gorn.

OOC: I was thinking somewhat of an ultra sonic sensor type thing. At the range they've been fighting it would be detailed enough for what he's done so far to be plausible, but farther off it would be little more than dots. IC: Night Stalker Night Stalker felt the blade bite through the fingers on his gun arm and managed to get his other hand out of the way before it lost it's fingers too. Seeing as how his gun arm was now pointing directly at Gorn's head, he fired, almost point blank, trying to blast the hero off his back.

OOC: I've been attributing that somewhat to his radar. He's been able to see what Gorn is going to do. I do see what you mean though, and I'll try to fix that. Does this put us at Night Stalker helmetless and Gorn behind him?
