    I think I've realised something.

    Whatever name I change to doesn't have to be perfect, for now. I'm not going to be stuck with it forever, I can always change to something more suitable in a few months if need be.

    It just has to be better than "Darth Jaller".

    Which to be honest? Isn't hard to do!

    I think I've realised something.

      How about taking your real name and messing around with it? That's what I did for mine originally, and now I've shortened it since it... doesn't sound good anymore. The McK is just fun though, I like McLastnames. >:P

      So my advice is: piece names together 'til it sticks!

    I'm in one of those I reeeeeeally want to change my display name phases again. This one was chosen when I was actively trying to work on a project of the same name - you can probably guess the content, heh - and just stuck around long after the idea itself was abandoned. Now, though, it just feels old and worn; something a lot shinier and newer would be nice.

    Only...

    I haven't the slightest clue what to change it to.

This one was chosen when I was actively trying to work on a project of the same name - you can probably guess the content, heh - and just stuck around long after the idea itself was abandoned. Now, though, it just feels old and worn; something a lot shinier and newer would be nice.

      Hmm, that's tough... May I help?

      First, think about what you'd like people to think when they see your posts. Who wrote this? Someone memorable, that's for sure. May your name reflect that.

      Your pic can also help your name, and vice-versa. You have Hahli there, maybe something Hahli-related?

      What I do with my online names is have a theme. If you see an "L. McSomething" around, odds are it's me.

      But of course, what must matter the most is that you like it. Type anything! Read it aloud! Something will stick eventually.

      Anyway that's what I think. Hope it's useful and not a bunch of nonsense!
