What are you talking about? Hipster? No way, do you even know what you're saying? I for one play 07 way more than EoC lately. It has nothing to do with it "being cooler" and I really doubt that's the reason lots of people play it. I play 07 because it's just more fun and enjoyable to me, plus there's a certain nostalgia value bound to it. I don't think you will find a single person would would not agree that EoC objectively is the better game. Not to mention I know several people who play 07 because, well, they've maxed on EoC and want something new.

But I have not read the original novel, so I don't fear anything being... how to put it - ruined. All I know is that I'm enjoying it immensely, and that's all that counts.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of watching Gankutsuou, and it's honestly just fantastic. I do believe I have found my new favourite anime.

AOTY is... JoJo's Bizzare Adventure or Zetsuen no Tempest. I havn't seen Fate/Zero, but that might have been a contender. Top five eh? Well... 1: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann2. Welcome to the NHK3. Mushishi4. Berserk5. Baccano!Speaking of Gankutsuou, as someone who has not read the novel it was based on, can I enjoy it the same as someone who has? At the moment is is probably the series I'n looking forward to, so I don't want to be disappointed.

Completed a bit of shows within the last few days and I thought I might spark some life into this thread. Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita: genuinely funny, but very, very wierd stuff. I liked the tone of the animation and art and how it was making fun of humanity's near extinction. Ben-To: Over the top ridiculousness about high schoolers fighting over cheap food. It was pretty funny too, and was surprisingly good despite its premise. I felt it took itself too seriously sometimes though. Also: fanservice Haibane Renmei: A show about girls talking and sometimes crying. There's not a lot you can do with that, but it turned out a real touching drama with an excellent soundtrack.

_________________ Now, I'm not entirely sure what's filler and what's not, I'll just take them as they come. So far the production has been beautiful - the attention to details in the backgrounds and the animation and the music are just gorgeous, and it reminds me of all the reasons I love RuneScape/Oblivion. It's just a shame that we get the material we get. Like in episode four where Kirito was helping that little girl reviving her dragon pet thing. I couldn't help but think "this doesn't happen in MMOs" and by the end of the day the episode was completely pointless. Maybe it's one of those fillers you speaked of? Also I'd rather have Klein as the main character. He's chill.

Decided to catch up with the fall anime I had on hold. Specifically talking about Robotics;Notes, Zetsuen no Tempest, Psycho-PASS, K, Ixion Saga DT and BTOOOM!. Thinking about picking up Shin Sekai Yori, too. Also I'm going to be watching Sword Art Online. I just finished episode 4 and it's getting worse and worse with each episode.

Is there any real change between the first two movies and the TV series? Seems pointless to watch them otherwise, but I'm guessing they have a bigger budget and is even prettier to look at than the TV series.

Baccano! is great. Definitely one of the most fun series I have ever watched, if a bit shallow.

Well, it is relatively short, so I can't imagine it would take long. In other news I decided to get back into reading One Piece. I will try to look past the ridiculous charater designs this time around.

--- I don't care if you drop Fate/stay night, but dropping Fate/Zero as well is completely unacceptable. --- Well, I'm not exactly dropping Fate/Zero, I've just devided to not pick it up for a looong time, probably whenever I finish Fate/stay night which likely will not happen for a good while.

So for the fall season I decided to pick up JoJo's Bizzare Adventure and it has basically become my favourite anime. IloveitIloveitIloveit! Other than that I decided to drop Fate/stay night, which means I will probably miss out on Fate/Zero as well. With those shows gone I might have time to pick up some of the other fall seasn shows I've been missing. More specifically I'm talking about Zetsuen no Tempest, Robotics;Notes and Psycho-PASS.

Obviously, you got new abilities for both offence and defence so I suppose it's easier to combine the two. But I don't know, man. -Well, each piece of armour gives you a boost in your health points, which, by the way, has been recalculated so you can easily have health points in the 7000s. I guess it's there to actually make armour count for something. Also since protection prayers no longer block attacks 100% but rather reduces damage I suppose armour is even more useful now. -I'm not sure. I don't know if each weapon attack independant of eachother and you attack twice as fast or if their individual damage output is combined. I believe it's the former though.

No. While they don't do damage (they provide health points and defence points instead), they count as off-hand weapons, meaning you can use dual wielding abilities while still having some defence from the defenders. So yeah, it means they are optional for when you want to equalize damage output and defence.

A couple of days ago the street price was 5m. Don't know about now though, could be the prices have risen.
