Greetings, all! I recently decided to build the Toa Mata as LEGO BrickHeadz using LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and then used Mecabrick's 3D-rendering software to create photo-realistic pictures of them. I've posted these as a project on LEGO Ideas, but I wanted to post them here as well for feedback. Thoughts?
Lately, I've had the idea of seeing the Brickheadz style of head converted into a ball-jointed head for CCBS bodies. My idea stems from seeing a lot of system-based action figures, but also wanting to take aspects of the Brickheadz design into less statuesque expressions. Pictured here is the white Brickhead from the GoBrickMe set converted into the hypothetical ball joint assembly, worn on a blank CCBS buck .https://www.flickr.com/photos/161780943@N02/45137405575/in/dateposted-public/
Meloetta is one of my favorite Pokémon in terms of design, so I challenged myself to try and build a BrickHeadz version. I had limited resources to work with, so I had to bite the bullet in certain aspects of the design (this would be most noticeable with the pieces I used for the hands), but all things considered I think it turned out well. Let me know what you think! I also threw in my Meloetta figurine in each pic I took for comparison purposes.
