Pomegranate
Before I begin, I'd like to warn you that images 2 and 4 are identical, and I'm guessing that 4 was meant to me a shot of the back. I really wanna see the back, it looks so interesting from the side view.I reeeaally love this guy, he's so bulky and well built, no gaps or anything and he looks very sturdy The colors are great, very nice distribution of that teal (a beautiful color) and it looks great with the black, and the little dash of white/grey in the abdomen gives him a much needed splash of another color and makes for a neat focal point. Love the construction, he looks very complicated and mechanical and well armored, and little things like the wheel on the sides of his knees make it look like there's a lot of moving parts or that, were he a real biomechanical dude, would serve a purpose. Honestly, the only thing that bothers me is that his feet look a little dusty The assymetry in the shoulders works well, and what looks like a Bohrok shield hand thing on his back makes for a nice backplate or backpack. It's just very, very cool, I wanna build this guy myself ^^ (Also, I'm not certain, but it looks like some of those pieces aren't from the Tarakava-- do you remember what sets they may have been from if they aren't?) Scott Hall
Cool, this thing has been sitting around building up dust for about a year now, thanks for your review & fixed the 4th link it is indeed a back shotAnd the teal parts are from the tarakava, this set and the city slizer Edited April 3, 2014 by Scott Hall
Phovos
He's got such an amazing colour scheme! The black and teal go together really well. His hands though seem a tad too tiny for a being of his size. Quote Click here to read The Bohrok-Kal's Ramblings! Yes, I know there were 7 months between the last two episodes but oh well. Chro
Very nice. I like the contrast of the mechanical-ish areas of black technic and the parts with teal armor - I feel like I haven't seen a lot of people do that well recently (which could make sense since you made this a long time ago). While teal in and of itself always adds a lot to a MOC, I'd suggest adding some accents of another color, maybe orange to complement the eyes. Scott Hall
thanks. I usually go for the black/bright color contrast; even if this is a little old I just built something gold and black that I'll probably post pretty soon. If I had more trans orange I would probably add some accents of that to this, but I don't have any pieces of that color that would work.
