Fry
What do you guys think? I'm not one to moc so this is pretty unusual. I made this in honor of Alien Isolation. Ghidora131
Pretty interesting. So many people have made Xenomorph MOCs before that the genre is kinda bland. You did a reasonable job, though. Keeping the model thin was a good choice, but I don't like the feet.Overall, while the movie alien is only closely similar to the MOC, you did a good job nonetheless. Keep up the good work! Vorahk1Panrahk2
I think there are better ways you can represent the head instead of using one from the Rahkshi. One effective design I saw used years ago was to use a Miru mask tipped forward (it may have even been from a BZP member, but I can't recall). That way you get the dome shape without the visible eyes which, in my opinion, are a key element of the Xenomorph design. There are probably loads of other ways using other smooth curved pieces, but you might want to start thinking in that direction. I'd also recommend making the claws and feet smaller. You can probably form them with these pieces instead of using the molded claws feet. Aside from that, it represents the shape of the Xenomorph fairly well. I especially like the spines.
