This account of how these two ineffectual partners joined the sky pirate crew of Misfortune's Keep is decidedly non-canon, contradicting their origins as seen in episode 61 "Wishmasters", but it's still a fairly amusing tale. Well, Season 6 is already over. This is pretty messed up. I mean, how old is the Misfortune's Keep crew? 200 years? A year or two? I don't get it at all. If this video is considered non-canon, how can you the other Tall Tales? Anyway, contradictions aside, as I said, it is a funny video. Presumably, every one of the tall tales is exactly that—a "tall tale". They may have some commonalities with the actual events of the story, but they're not necessarily 100% factual or accurate. To be honest, considering Nadakhan insisted on giving Bucko and Sqiffy more "piratical" names, it wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to craft them a slightly less pathetic backstory as well.
