Katuko
Whenever I click on an image on the new forum, it loads and pops up in its own little box. Good for images that have been shrunk, but given that a lot of people use their banners as links or make their own thumbnails, this gets very annoying very quickly.Right now, if you click my signature, it will not take you to the related topic as it is supposed to, it will simply make the banner pop up in a box. If you click one of the image thumbnails in said topic, the thumbnail gets the box while the image it links to opens in a new tab in the background.Would it be possible to turn this feature off or get instructions on how to avoid it? :)EDIT: Strange, it seems to turn on and off. Right after I posted this it worked properly again, but after I went to edit this post the problem is back.EDIT 2: And now its gone again. Strange. Gatanui
We are aware of this issue and while we cannot promise anything, chances are we will eventually disable this feature. Until then, I don´t know of a way to disable it for a specific post. But as far as your signature is concerned, clicking your banner opens the topic just fine for me. I believe the image pop-up only opens for posts, not for signatures.~Gata. Edited October 14, 2011 by Gatanui - Gata Please don't use my avatar or signature without permission, thanks! Katuko
Seems that way. I guess it was because I was editing a post that the banner got counted as "in-post" or something. Banner links work for me now, at least.
Black Six
As Gatanui said, we're aware of this. There's no easy way for us to control it without making some kind of modifications to the board though. If we're able to fix it at some point, we will.Thread closed.
