How To Review
First off, this is by no means the way you "must" review, but rather the way I find easiest. It's mainly to help people to give better reviews, to those that struggle with doing so.
I have reviewed many things, and what pains me most is to see short and "spammy" [maybe not spam according to BZP, but according to me they are] reviews that say "Awesome I love it! The *blank* is especially cool!", or other short one-sentence reviews like that. Reviews, in my opinion, ar

I'm mainly posting this here so that I can link to it in various places, rather than just linking to my post in the BZPRPG General Discussion Topic as I did before.
So, without further ado, I present to you a Quick Grammar Guide of sorts, written by your very own Toa Velox:
The most common mistake I see is the use of There, Their, and They're. Below I will write how each one is to be used, and an example:
There: "There" is used to describe a place. I want to go over there.

What happened? Almost every single topic I look at has at least one post that's spam. Or even if a post isn't spam, all it says is, "I like the legs." or something extremely short like that.
And, why must almost everyone put extremely large pictures into their topics? I'm being completely honest here: I visit a topic [to review - I might just be browsing for pleasure, and this doesn't count for that] if the name [or MOCist, depending] sounds interesting. However, if the pictures won'

Welcome to the Writer's Club! Here is a place that you join so that you can review and write more, and where you can also get reviews for your own works. There are no limits as to who can join, but, if one wants to enter the monthly contests, than I ask that he/she agrees to the following terms:
-You write at least four reviews in one month, for this club. The only exception would be if you are a member of the ECC or SSCC, then three of your four reviews may be done there instead,

Well, today during one of my more boring classes, I started writing. It started out with just gibberish, but then it started evolving in a story, and soon I had blanked out my surroundings completely and I was focused on the story. After about ten minutes, I was done. I'll be posting it soon, but I still need to correct it and touch it up. For now, though, you guys can read it if you want [it's human-BIONICLE, hence the white armor (so an Ice Toa), and "Solus" means "Alone" in Latin]:

I've been thinking about this for a while, and now I've decided to share it in my blog.
If you join you agree to:
-Review the stories of other club members [not necessarily all, but each story should get 2-3 replies from club members]
-Try to write frequently.
Then there'd be monthly contests in which club members could take part in, and possibly other stuff.
Basically, it's just a thing to get people to review and write more.
Any suggestions/comments are appreciated. If
:: :: I am ashamed to say that I haven't really done much over the recent downtime. Writing-wise, at least. What do I blame that to? - Reading a bunch of Agatha Christie murder mysteries - Watching a couple seasons of NCIS my grandpa got on DVD and let me borrow [an awesome show, I must say] - Doing numerous things on other forums Not an excuse, I know. I have done a few things, though: - Started writing an epic that Nuju Metru and myself are co-writing -- it's the new "Chronicles of

I've been meaning to make a list of "things people should read" for a while now, so I guess I'll start now. I know I've forgotten things, and I'm not going to put any links yet [i'll get to it eventually].
Anyway, here we go:
~ ToM's Bookshelf, Hunger, The Iron Ghost, and Learn to Fly, by ToM Dracone
~ Flux, Through the Eyes of a Vorox, Ignika's Sacrifice, and Merely a Servant, by Nuju Metru
~ Lady Kopaka's Library, Never Forgive, Never Forget, Let the Flames Begin, and Forgotte
Since the Lists entry is overloaded with BBCode, I will be holding the archive of Reviewed MOCs in this entry. This, obviously, will be edited to match all the other BBC CC Entries.

Well, I got a PM from Hahli Husky the other day asking me if I could become the Curator of the Comedies Critics Club, and make a new one. I guess <daydreamer> recommended me or something since she was too busy [which, on another note, I hope to start reviewing epics/Short stories again]. I'm honored they both thought me worthy, though I can just imagine how awesome it'd be if it was the Short Stories Critics Club, Epics Critics Club, or BBC Critics Club, but it's not. =P

I'm leaving tomorrow morning to go to Sacramento. I'm not sure how much I'll be on, though. I'm driving back Thursday, so I won't be on then or tomorrow, 'cause driving takes up pretty much the whole day.
And tonight is the Easter Vigil Mass. It's so awesome... but long, unfortunately. Anyway, if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'm the server that holds/uses the censer - the Thurifur [at least, I think that's how it's spelled...].
So, yeah. This will be my first time being th

Should I buy Berix or Zesk?
Zesk just looks awesome. And is tan. And looks like a Rahi, which is awesome.
Berix has awesome colors. Awesome feet. Awesome sword. And awesome mask.
Which one? I'm leaning a little more toward Berix, but... *shrugs*
In other news, I finished Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony today [i started it last night - it's the second to last, BTW]. I checked out Artemis Fowl: The Time Peridox [the last book] also today. I'm not even done with the first chapte

..So I went to the Library Friday evening to try to get some of those books, and they had very few. Or if they did they were checked out.
The ones they did have were the second and third part to sequels, and I didn't want to get those without reading the first one first.
The one they did have, though, was Artemis Fowl. I must say it's quite good - good enough that I've read a little more than a third of it in two days [i read the Hobbit a little while ago, and it took me like two
So I was Confirmed today. For those who don't know, it means I received one of the Seven Roman Catholic Sacraments today - that of Confirmation. I'm sure 55555, What?, ChocolateFrogs, and any one else that's Catholic will know what I'm talking about.
Anyway, it was cool. And long. Like two hours or something. But fun none-the-less.
And... I'm going to lunch right now, I think, with my family. So, I'll probably blog later...
Oh, and I'm re-writing Requiescat In Pace [reviews are still a
What are some good books to read? For my liking, I really love J.R.R. Tolkien and Lord of the Rings. Along with other action/adventure/fantasy. Any suggestions? I'm looking for more books to add to my shelf. And if someone mentions BIONICLE books, I will have to kill you. I already read them - and I like them.

So . . . since I was bored, I decided I would enter the Comedy forum for the first time in months. So, I clicked on the first comedy I saw. And I will say one thing:
I won't be going back to that forum for a while.
I had to stop mid-way through the first chapter. Just so much spam and newbishness. Sure, I wrote a comedy once that was pretty newbish, but it wasn't that bad . . . I'll never write a comedy again, though.
Though, I want to try to make an actual Short Story that's

And I must say he's not all that bad. He's worse than I thought he was, as most sets are, but I do like him. Already I've made a few changed like adding some trans-Neon Green Bohrok eyes to his upper arms [since the Piraka thigh armor pieces are on the back, I thought he needed some lime on the front]. And, I kept the Piraka thighs on the back of his arms like the instructions say to because then his arm has more movement. With the Piraka thighs on the front, he can only bend his arm so

No, I haven't posted it if that's what you were thinking.
But, I have a Dilemma. I can't seem to be able to write about my Matoran life. It's just too boring - which is expected of a Matoran. Not that it would be boring to read, but it's boring to write with all the ideas of his Toa-life I have. And, I don't really want to just start writing him as a Toa because I can't figure out how to start it, and it will flow much better if I write the Matoran Book first.
Well, enough of tha
I wish all of my fellow BZPers a Happy New Year! I'll be up late tonight early tomorrow [like 2 AM], but I doubt I'll be on BZPower much more tonight. Maybe when I get back from a thing my family is going to, but I'll probably just go to bed.
My New Years Resolutions Concerning BZPower:
-Write a few Short Stories.
-Finish at least two small epics.
-Finish at least one book of The Chronicles of Velox.
-Get 9k or 10k posts if possible.
-Become an OBZPC.
-Become more successful.

...Definitely not something I get lately, but I welcome them with open arms. I have had one these past few days. I hope to finish a Short Story by tomorrow or Wednesday. Although I have no idea when I'll actually post it.
I also have a couple other ideas, such as writing two short epics. 1) Re-writing The Battle. 2) Re-Write The Quest for the Mask of Time.
I love writing sprees. I thank God every time I get one. Hopefully it will last another week and a half for all of my Christma
I needed to write a poem on a color. I chose red. Also, I got a 25/25.
Red is the color of my heart,
That is full of Love for you.
Red is the color of fire,
The fire that burns in my heart.
Red is the color of hatred,
Which I feel so often.
Hatred toward pain,
And all that is evil.
Red is the color of war,
And the blood that comes from war,
The blood shed for Loved ones.
Red is the color of throats,
Throats crying out in pain,
Begging for a chance to Love.
A chance to live

Well, the theme is most likely going to be Jedi Gali's where you have to follow one of the Mata/Nuva [Takanuva is fine too]. Although, I'm thinking of making it during a specific time. It just seems like too big of a subject to do it from when they were created to the present.
Actually, maybe I could just have, say, five different times. Like, one of them would be telling what happened before they were put into their canisters [their training]. What do you think about that?
